I set this up earlier this year:


I planned to use it just to cruise but it actually skates pretty well.  It has a nice big nose for noseslides.  Lots of no-complys are mandatory on any old-school Ray Barbee board.

Nope, they're Tracker Street Tracks with ultralight baseplates.  People shit on those trucks all the time but I rode them when I first started skating.  I found them cheap online a few years ago and could resist.

You can use your regular board for transportation.

I spend about half my year in Europe, believe me unless you are blessed with super stamina, you don't wanna push around on 52's in the regular Streets in Germany, England, Norway, Holland and so on

I rode my friends Zagger and it did feel a lot more stable and solid than my Zinger. I think I still prefer my Zinger.

If I had an extra couple hundred bones I would've definitely bought a Janoski cork grip cruiser setup today.  Though cork grip may not be very practical, the Hopps one was sick too.

I want the Silas cork top so badly.

to me a Cruiser is different than a Longboard. I wish companies would stop doing so many longboard wheels. I think any wheel under 90a is too soft. a 92 or 95a in a functional shape/size is perfect. I need to be able to slide. Spitfire had some called Softers and Bones had the Ditch Formula, but I can never find either of them.

The really soft wheels like the old Kryptonics are good for a board that you're going to skate home from the bar. where a pebble is going to toss you.

It's going to sound nerdy and sad but I saw Tommy Guerrero's Zip Zinger and he had an Anti Hero sticker on the nose and I thought it looked cool so I copied him.

I'm also a product of the early 90's when pro's used to put different companies stickers on their boards.

working at a skateshop helped me acquire a shitload of cruiser. i made the mistake of trading/giving away my now favorite ones; creature return of the mummy, hosoi hammerhead krooked, and a mike mcgill skull and snake original. i'll post pictures of the ones i still have within the next couple of days

He still is! We have another friend named "Babykilla" and when he and Shannon start acting stupid, it's impossible to not laugh until you're in pain. Shannon's great... sick pics diobolik... also, sick grips Randozzi... the foot is amazing!

Got the first one from Jim, the second from Mic E, and the third was a limited run for a fallen skater here... the graphic was used on an Actions Realized 8", but this is one of 40 Ace of Spades models we got at our shop, because that's what Mike himself would've ridden:



A Ray Barbee (not a remake) with Gullwings and T Bones... I don't ride this board hard because the wood is sensitive... it still pops, but it's really dried out and splinters out weird. The longboard was a gift that I've had for ages... it's on 65mm Kryptos, and the Zagger's on Thunders and Softers. The Roskopp in the back is skateable, just not set up.
