Cut out an old board. Pretty fucked up shape but it's super fun to ride.

word, I think my dad has one, I've already taken the grip off and made the shape outline with a sharpie, looks pretty weird, but awesome.

How'd you draw your outline? Did you have something to trace with? I'd like to try my hand at cutting my board, but I'm fairly clumsy sometimes.

I just freehanded it on the top of the deck, so at least I would have something to have a guideline with.

I'm planning on getting one of the Deathwish Spliff Cruisers soon. It's a 7.75.

I need recommendations on the..

Trucks (size, brand, etc.), Wheels (size, brand, etc.), and which bearings to use.

I used one of my other decks for the outline. I usually ride a pointy-ish nosed deck so I just lined them up so I would cut a couple inches off the sides.

well no luck in getting one of the traffic cruisers shipped across (shipping costs were prohibitive, the dude oyola was more than helpful tho) meant it was zip zinger time

here it is chilling by the Thames (zip zinger 7.75, indy 139's, 65mm zip zingers) after a nice hour pushing along the streets of LDN after work this afternoon

Put this together this week to play in all the nice weather we've been having 'oop north, the wheels eat Manchester's haggard paving slabs for breakfast!

cruiser boards are a bourgois accessory.  just skate one board.
I used to be this guy but after I fucked my ankle so I couldn't skate properly for a while a got a cruiser which is good 'cause now I can stand on a board at least and bomb hill or shit so I'm not going to be a full stranger to the skateboard after I can skate again.

After a shit load of saving...

The wheels are not as soft as I imagined. I was hoping they'd be a bit more stealthy but the bit of hardness means powerslides are still possible.

Are they 80Ds? Should be plenty soft if they are.

Yep, they are. I just expected them to be alot softer than what they turned out to be. They still feel good but they're quite loud.

I have those wheels, always knew what my set-up was when getting it out of my friends car, cause mine was the only one that would bounce when you drop in on the ground, I had them on my street board.
