I feel lonely and unaccomplished. My only passion besides getting stoned is skateboarding and I'm too much of a pussy/broke ass to get really good at it. I can't get girls because I'm not even happy with myself. But I have no idea how to change that because I've grown too comfortable being a lazy stoner. I see the 50 year old single cooks I work with, and it terrifies me because I see myself in 30 years, an ignorant and single loser.

God I just want to feel normal. To love and to be loved. To feel success. To be the well-off, intelligent dude who's sick at skating and has a hot girlfriend, instead of the loser.

I fucked my ankle up pretty hard like a month ago. It's pretty healthy now, enough that I can easily walk or run, or drive, just not skate. I hate being on that last little stage of recovery before I can skate again. The weather has been absolutely perfect and everything too. Frustrating.

Although they are clearly labeled as 7 3/4, I ordered those exact ones and received a box of 8 inchers, that are flat as fuck, and are accompanied by the shittiest griptape I've ever seen.

And I'm gonna have to keep them because I don't want to go through the hassle of shipping them back, then waiting two more weeks to have my boards.
