i didn't want to clog up toy banter with my shameless-ness.
but, i just updated the OPEN skateboards website with some new product and shots, so you can see everything clearer.

yeap. i was always bummed going to the shop and not finding graphics i really liked. so many logo boards. so i hooked up with my friend Ian Lynam (www.ianlynam.com) and got to work!

right now our only team member is Jason Park out of Hawaii.

the green board has an orange ply under the paint. so when you shred, it turns orange. green ply on top.
the "whale" "orange" board is just all plain maple.

you should post/provide access to larger pdf's of the individual graphics

or maybe you already have, but your site works weird for me. I'd be stoked to thoroughly check out that green deck

thanks! i would love to give him a raise.
it would help if, 1. people picked up some gear from us. 2. if you or a friend work at a shop. show our stuff to the buyer? maybe carry some boards and shirts? 3. if you write or work for a skate blog or magazine. hit me up!

we're so young and small. no big names. that any help is great. getting in shops direct would be jamtastic. or finding a distro.

here's the first ever public showing.
white screen print. blue dyed top and bottom layers. 31.6 x 8.0 (8.0's are our fastest selling size)

then after that we have some amazing artwork by a japanese artist "Buna" 2 decks. they are amazing

heads up to slappers.
we got a hyper limited deck coming in the next couple weeks.
blue top and bottom stain. with 1 color screeened graphic. 8.00" wide.
only 10 avail to the public.. image attached.

hit me if ur interested. but these guys are gonna be a bit more pricey.. cause of the limit.. 10 for the public,, only 20 total.

I will be doing a review on an Open board.

The wood is good, they are manufactured by Pennswood after all. Nice and poppy. The fact that they're screen printed is plus as well. It still feels nice and solid after two weeks. Its a fully functional board, and I can vouch for it. But lets talk about that logo of theirs. This funny looking cat with messy hair is pretty fantastic. Just look at that face of his. I liked him so much I cut out some griptape just so I could still see him. I couldn't bear to cover him up. Maybe we'll see a a board graphic for the cat? I hope so.

Open gets Cthulhu's stamp of approval.

single color screen. on blue stained wood.
blue stained wood on the top too.

31.6 x 8.0" very very small run.
