Are you skating an I beam large or something? That's a crazy notch.

Threads like this make me feel like the biggest poser. Good job guys.

Grinding curbs is prob the fastest way if you’re trying to speedrun some trucks. Especially finding and breaking in new curbs, that’ll do it quick.

APB but don't underestimate the power of not grinding to the axel, and cobbling together a set up of old parts and giving away a complete.  It's pretty satisfying too.......

I think my kingpin is going to give out before I get into the hollow part of the axle

I had the same type of slash on some black AF1’s from crooks on a newer piece of angle iron. It bugged the fuck out of me for the life of the truck.

Eight months in. 6.1s. The axel grinds down so much slower than the truck itself. I’m trying to see how long I can run them.

My back180 nosegrinds lock into that same spot. So it’s definitely getting double timed.

Glad to see this thread re kindled

What trucks axle the quickest? I was looking at some ventures and they seem to have the least amount of meat to protect the axle. This is a quick observation so no way the absolute truth.  Anyone measure this and have a number?

nothing's been the since same

Aces have a lot more meat than venture/thunder. But ace classics grind down super fast because of the soft metal, so you're still kinda right.
Just checked, thunders and ventures seem to have the same amount of metal above the axle, only about 5mm.

Either Ace Classics or thunders.

Fellow crook enjoyer.

You two need to collab and make an all crooks montage at your favorite ledges because those images look like AI generated crook grooves and I need more context.

Really hard and sharp metals will cut into the hanger aluminum like that. The skatepark ledges at North Hollywood park(and others) have a slight inside bevel to them where the concrete has worn away and will do this to my trucks. I hate grinding them because it does this shit and it looks funny to me. I’m assuming they’re probably grinding something similar

Same here. My local park has those types of ledges. Almost opened up a dudes shin once they get so sharp.
