The layout of the main site seems more browse friendly. And as for the forum, the only thing I don't like is the bright white....so I turned my brightness down.

But yeah I think a night mode or less obtrusive colour combo would help weary eye and the slight button changes et al will be ingrained in our motor memory before too long

Doesn't the End button on your keyboard do that too?  Or maybe not.

Only complaints would be that it looks like a lot of the text is just floating in space and a little more color would be nice, too much white.

I think there are some issues with the font type. I think you guys are using Verdana and I feel like it's not easy on the eyes as body text. Things just seem too spaced out for some reason and since it is on a white background, maybe that is why everyone is trippin' over it.

Even in the topics section, the boxes seem too big or spaced out. I suggest condensing that a little if you can.

Oh yeah, we need some color differentiation on links we've already clicked on top of having the links colored up in their own way, too.

Now that I think about it, some darker cells/divs would be a bit better. The comment about the text floating was pretty on point now that I think about it.

You can lighten up the grey just a tad. Seems too dark from the screen cap....but it's going in the right direction.


And nice change on the text. Arial looks way better.

I think the borders that were added to the top and bottom of text in replies complicates things a bit more. Posts blend together a bit too much. Maybe add a subtle bg color to every other post? Some simple zebra striping?

Dark theme is the way to go.  I'm probably straining my eyes, but at least I'm not being blinded.

I honestly do not enjoy being on SLAP with the boards looking like this. The colors and all the white are just terrible. Please change it back to the old board.
