This bums me out. Not trying to associate the NBA with skateboarding but it bummed me out when the 80's-90's generation of basketball stars like Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird and others alike were retiring. I feel like there will be more skaters to retire as well. Shit.

zoo is done from what ive been hearing. some japanese company is buying them out and doing away with skateboarding. supposedly just zoo york brand clothing

He runs a shop and is raising a family. He doesn't skate much. That's just the way it works. You got to have steady money coming in. He had a fucking amazing switch hard flip that's for sure.

barley's one stand-up guy, thats for sure. he had an interview in TSM and came across as one of the most down to earth, real people i've heard speak in a skateboard magazine. no one should be talking shit about his job with element...dudes doing the right thing by setting himself up with a gig like that.

I would really have a hard time seeing Zered on another team but Zoo. I fear he could end up on element as well. They would probably be one of the only companies that wouldn't harass him about spending all of his time in NY.
