There was a stretch where 2nd wave eS was releasing some completely new models with a lot of hidden / subtle tech in slimmer silhouettes but they rarely seemed to make it past one season, so they started doing all Accel based things, and now are trying to capitalize on the bulky DC nostalgia trend.  So complaining about their shoes being shitty reissues or all variations on a theme is because their more unique models didn't sell.  But I wonder if their wave of more subtle tech was just slightly ahead of the curve and those models would do better now.

Lol nah they were super cool and responsive.  Seems they just got a very limited amount in.  Less than they were expecting it seems.  They handled it well and I still got the shoes so no salt here

Good to hear, the guy that bought into the skate shop a while back was an OG shop worker that I remember buying things off of when I was 12, and looking for any information on skating.  I moved away from the area once that happened, but from what I can tell he's doing a good job bringing it up to speed, even for northwest Indiana.
