knew there something else different about them i just couldn't spot it.  hidden laces looked ok on the knee-highs.

although ive hurd that theyre gonna be priced around the same as the knee highs (£100) so dont expect to be seeing too many people skating or even wearing them

This is not the particular colorway, but damn these shoes where like the most popular skate shoes in my neighborhood growing up. Pretty much everyone wore either Nortons or Airwalks.

This is not the particular colorway, but damn these shoes where like the most popular skate shoes in my neighborhood growing up. Pretty much everyone wore either Nortons or Airwalks.

That colorway is a classic Samba colourway.  It was inevitable that that colour was going to happen. no doubt about it.

Now that ?S seems to be rolling out some older styles, what are the chances of seeing a reissue of the K3 like they did with the ek1? Not sure if it was a big seller but I would definately buy these, and I haven't skated ?s in about ten years

I had some once upon a time. I seem to recall an interview where Koston discusses the eS molds of that era being destroyed in a fire so a reissue of the K3 wouldn't happen--might have been blowing smoke though.

His new shoe looks righteous!

I don't know about that. While I agree that it looks rather silly I'm definitely willing to give it a try if it means I wouldn't have to fuck with shoe goo any longer. Because nothing else than a fucking padding seems to prevent me from getting an ollie hole in a day and there are no shoes on the market with the padding option right now. Which is kind of insane because I know I'm not alone with that problem of destroying shoes in second.

That's an 80's ollie patch location.  In skateboarding today, ollie patch should be further toward the toe.
