There's just so much paneling that it makes it look clunky and thick, it's all overlapping in all the wrong ways.

Fallen makes the worst looking shoes. I don't know how they do it. I think it's great that it's a skater owned company, but they make bad looking shoes. Their stuff just always ends up looking bad somehow. Even when they do the same color way as another company, theirs still looks shitty.

I think alot about making good colorways is the actual shoe they're on. It's not like they have much to work with...bad designs will make any colorway straight trash.

even though fallen has a lot of misses, some colorways are pretty sick. the Forte, the Easy and the York have some great colorways. they should stick to the earth-toned ones, not the flashy mall chain ones.

It does. Bummer. The rest of the shoe looks great. I wanted to support Vince's shoe so bad, but the tall sole is a big deal breaker for me. I had a pair of HUF Choices and despite being good shoes to skate in, I couldn't stand the tall sole.

Yeah that is exactly what they look like and I've heard bad things about those. I think those are just samples, so maybe they can fix it.

The thing with new balance is technically all their designs are sound, but that's only because they're basically copies of other popular skate shoes. Their success will depend mostly on their cost and quality compared to same shoe models they copy. Also they need to be putting out more footage of their pros skating them so people aren't so iffy about skating a shoe with a big N on the side.

Also to anybody ever tryna embed Instagram pics if you login to your account thru web.stagram.com you can copy the image address link & embed like normal

I had a pair of Vans Lampins in either late 94 early 1995.
They were really flexible, comfortable and actually pretty damn durable.
The heels on them then actually had heel bumpers just like all Vans have on the toecaps.
It was the heelflip era afterall.
Always wondered if they'd ever re-release them again.
These colorways are very 1994-95ish.
