Popcush are in the pro classics now. Saw the white/gum old skools with the green jazz stripe with the popcush insoles.

I feel like PopCush is basically just the Ultracush HD but purple.

I got a pair of the Rowans in the Airwalk Enigma colourway at the release event and I think they're super dope. Look great in person. That colour for sure is very 90s like some old Airwalks or Vans Carrolls. The shoe is a little narrow and digs in a bit across the top of my feet where the laces start, but I have really thicc feet and have this problem with at least half of the shoes I get. They seem to be stretching out decent though.

PopCush is comfy, but besides all that nothing feels super different to me than other Vans Pros, but I haven't had a chance to skate them yet. The shoe is kinda thick overall, if you're into skating Half Cab Pros or SK8 Hi Pros, you'll probably like the Rowans.

Goddamn those Carroll’s....I had the whites, as favorite of a shoe as I’ve had. Had them at the same time as the first Kareem Axion shoe. Embarrassment of riches. I had the white Carroll's too, I remember the first day I skated them I landed every flip trick in my bag down my local 5 stair. Actually I cling to that day as it was by far my best day of skating ever. The rest of it has been sub-par at best..😑

Rowan’s fit a little long IMO, little toe space. Feel much better than old skool pro’s in the same size, those hurt my toes. Feel more premium. The heel lining being that velour type material is nice. Holds you in.
PopCush does feel more dense than ultracush, better response - ultra just seemed overly squishy in a way. Reminded me of g6 a little bit but I was wearing those before.

They showed these off like 2 years ago at the trade show and they were available as a stand alone accessory for a while. Surprised it’s just now coming standard. Looks like you can’t buy em anymore but the webpage for em still exists.

This would make me more likely to try es now tbh. At 33 with a rebuilt ACL I'm finally learning the importance of good insoles and core brands are severally behind the big brands in terms of insoles and impact protect IMO.

Accel slim were a good shoe for me. 1/2 size small, and the insole was a silly piece of foam, papery....but once those were sorted, good shoe. Didn’t keep going with them as they were thinner than most vulc shoes and I need bricks
