Same here, black is selling better than white/red as expected.

Looks good, but the toe looks a little too long. I hope they release the navy/white/teal colorway of the original.

Not many were fans of the Grey toe ones but I was. Hope they drop those too.

I ordered the black and baby blue Lakai Carroll's. I went to their site thinking I'd get the white pair because I had the black ones back in the day, but at the last minute changed my mind to the black ones. I can't wait to skate in these things.

I ordered a pair of the blacks too, really wanted the Manchesters but I read bad comments on the sole, and I have tried the XLK sole on the Carrolls and it s really good. Cant wait to get them!

Backstory of the design.

That’s a cute hashtag but I feel like they should definitely being saying tell all your fucking friends to buy our shit cause basically no one cares about us anymore. I mean they did a warehouse sale last year and sold shoes that had just been released for 15 bucks. I can’t imagine that’s cause they were doing well.  These are sick though.

I'm really looking forward to getting these Lakai Carroll's in the mail soon. Watching that video about their design/inspiration got me more excited. So I went back and watched the Modus Carroll part and that pumped me up even more. That lead to me watching the first FTC video which I've never even watched before (no clue why). So rad. I think I'm going to watch the other two over the weekend now.
I really hope Lakai keeps up the reimagining of older designs. I was bummed at first about these Carroll's not being a legit reissue, but I'm more into them now being better designed for skating. I'm completely down for them doing this to the old Howard's and hopefully more models too.

I feel like I heard a rumor about updated fades too?

I would love an updated Howard, I also had those back in the day. I never had the fades and would fucking love an updated pair of those if they don’t turn out horrendous. For anyone curious, the fade is inspired by the Nike air Garnett III I believe.

Lakai is definitely making the smart move. As cool as they were, let’s be honest, skate shoes back then were not as good. Very smart to update them.

Can’t wait for my black and blue pair, really glad I ordered right when they dropped. I too watched the classic modus part again today and damn I am hyped.

Edit: although I may have talked a tad bit of shit on those evants in the past, that colorway makes em look way better. No point in doing K3 colorways, mans is on Nike.

I’m in for these and the grey/orange/white pair. But I feel they should do the staple OG first. It was a pretty slim down shoe to begin with. I feel a true OG reissue will work during these times.

I want the Carrolls but don’t think my local is getting em in and I want to support a brick & mortar skateshop.

I've bought a couplw small items on Parade, the shop name is there somewhere.  Maybe in the cart?  I remember it not being very obvious.

when you purchase through them your order is contracted out to and fulfilled by a shop that is closest to you.  maybe there's a list of shops who they work with on their site

and you can go directly to the skateshop’s website if they have one when you put something in your cart on parade. Order directly from shop or through parade, either way works.
