I like that white gama, quite a bit. Vague Jordan 2 vibes. The edit: REEBOK cw is really working for me as well.  If that’s a leather (cup) court shoe, I’ll buy.

I don’t know how re-releases of signature shoes work. They can drop the same exact model like the Emerica MJ 1 but just take out his name.

Unless Koston has the rights to the sketch/design of the shoes? eS was sort of close with the Evant (K3) model with some modifications so it’s NOT exactly like the K3.

yeah, his first model was the, “I’m going to skate barefoot until you make me a canvas shoe” and then somewhere around 99 the were about to release his second model but had to rename it the phocus after he bounced to Adio. He took the design with him, but to this day I still think emerica did a really great job, such a clean shoe. Look at the Adio one;

I owned a pair and while they didn’t suck, the phocus smokes them for breakfast

That century shoe looks so good. As good as or better than the original jt and better than that adio atrocity. When was the emerica century gonna come out? Real bummer that didn’t come out. Love that classic colorway too. Really telling that the same guy who thwarts shoe releases bc they perhaps infringe in his intellectual property also sells tons of overpriced signed memorabilia and tries to rip off collectors for huge sums of money.

Was supposed to release fall 2017.  I really hate that JT squashed it, but emerica probably would’ve made them in real suede anyway.

I’ll always prefer the look of a chuck, or authentic/era/half cab, just basic/classic shoe, preferably in canvas, but the ave is as good of a shoe as I’ve had. Big fan. Light, really like the way the sole feels/performs. Some people wear through them, quickly, I do not. I also try lots of kickflips.
Vans doesn’t get enough credit for those.

Yeah, I am skating my 3rd pair now. I love the rapiweld no stitching. The shoe hasn’t ever blown out for me, the sole wears out first (last a while tho) than the toe/Ollie area. If anyone is looking for a pair, I’ve seen them on sale for like $69 ($100 retail) at a Vans store, I haven’t really seen much at the vans outlet yet. I have, but like $10 off or something like that.

Little cheaper would be nice, but they lasted decently for me.
I’m not a huge fan of the look of the icy sole, or the jazz stripe tbh, and would prefer it with canvas, in a mono colorway. As I write this I know my vision would suck tho. It’d be nice to have a slightly more tech era, but every attempt at faux vulc has been wack looking
