I don’t wear emericas, but I appreciate their more usually tasteful, simple designs. Unlike say Lakai or es just throwing shit at a wall and seeing what sticks.

Also those Clearweathers look way better than these.

Those Dicksons look awful, and they’re one of the new vegan versions that EmericaTM has been promising us for the past 6 months, adding insult to injury.

In their defense, they are all canvas so they are doing this as a way of offering a vegan option without having it blow out in 2 sessions, for that I give them props! (But yeah, synth suede would obviously be the better option)
I honestly don’t think they look that bad... I’ve certainly seen worse!

which ones? The dicksons came from a very solid source so I’d say they’re real. Arto’s version is probably not real but he fucking nailed the late 90s emerica aesthetic/ vibe with that design, Id buy like 5 pairs in a heartbeat If it was a real shoe!

Those Dicksons are something else, and I mean that in a non positive way. Holy hot pile of garbage, vegan or not.

And then right after we get Sketchy showing how it’s done for the 1000th time. Like damn, I’m a footwear designer, I work with people that are paid shit loads of money that do work with not even half the quality he does.
He’s the full package, understands shoe construction, cleaver and tasteful design choices, completely aligned with the brand image with the little innovation spice it needs, good colorways, super clean presentations that are easy to read. Goddamn it, I hate seeing talent being wasted. Someone hire this guy!

Those Streaks capture Emericas image better than anything they’ve put out in the last decade. Would definitely keep them on during sex if I could actually purchase a pair. Love the slimmed down Templeton vibes!

You realize that Westgate had like 4 pro models on Emerica right?

I think he had 2, but they never looked quite right for him.   (I guess my fault for writing “would” rather than “Should”)  Same with Heaths 3 models.  He should have had 1 classic shoe in all that time.

Damn I love my dicksons but those vegan joints are rough. I’m not a shoe designer but if the did a full toe cap and then less on the heal it wouldn’t look too bad.

Those Dicksons are part of a "Rubber Vulcano" pack and are the most "extreme" out of the three. Not my cup of tea personally but shops loved them and kids are down for some crazy shit these days especially when durability is a factor. There's still the Flick Shield underneath that canvas too. There's a handful of regular Dicksons coming out as well.
