Vans SPV was for sure my favorite shoe, and yes super thin but I felt like it held up decently. I heard that the cost was too much for them to make for that price, like, not worth it to Vans corporate. But, would be a blessing if they came back.

absolutely loved them too. they were really durable for how thin and simple they were actually, i remember being surprised that they lasted so long. had probably 5-6 pairs and would gladly buy more if they ever came back into existence.

Random but I DM’d Ellington bout the li nings last night and he said 1st quarter 2021 release date for 100 bucks if anyone cares. I personally quite like them. They’re weird but at least it’s a fresh idea.

I saw this shoe on the gram a couple times and thought people were trolling. I barely find print patterns ok on shoes but graphics on shoes? That's a big hell no from me. Pass on these ass shoes.

I like em for that too. I wanted his final Supra shoe for the obvious Jordan influence. I wish stuff like that and the westgates with the runner toe would’ve gained more traction while they were out. Both had such short runs by the time they released colorways I liked they were discontinued.

I didn't expect much but the sole is thin af, thinner than a classic vans.
Laces seemed a bit close together

Also listening to the ~21 year old shop rats talk about how they were finessing unemployment had me laughing hard.
"hes paying me under the table its great! So I can keep getting covid unemployment"
"Then I got all this liquor like why not we are all sitting at home anyways?"
"yea but even that gets boring dude, you have to take a walk or something"

Damn - any other reports on how they skate? I've heard nothing but good things up to this point

I've skated mine some but I put in my own insoles so I haven't noticed them being super thin. Takes a little bit of time to break them in (one session) but then they skate great. They're kind of like beefed up bruins.
