So sorry to hear that, man. It’s a loss that cuts right to the core. I lost my 12 year-old lab a couple weeks ago and my heart still hurts. We definitely don’t deserve them.

back in the 1990s, there was a shop in NYC called 99X that did lots of special collaborations with Vans. They had fully vegan canvas old skools in the traditional colors before they were available anywhere else, and they had a blacked-out synth halfcab. All I want is that black synth halfcab back!

has there really only been one? I had a canvas pair in like 2013 when I worked at the vans store. They were dark grey. You got a free pair when you were hired and I remember everyone else picked old schools.

There have been a few canvas colorways in the classics line around 2012-2015 (i had the "black 14oz" and a white canvas pair, and I've seen blue ones on ebay), and then there was a light grey canvas early on in the "pro" lineup (this is probably the one that GIMP is referring to).  There were also three colors of hemp canvas halfcabs in the Syndicate line around 2010, as well as a couple synthetic "bulletproof" syndicate halfcabs.

Sage is a talented skater and I know there is crossover appeal, but I wish Cons would reward some of their good skaters who skate a lot with colorways.   Haven’t seen Sage tricks since pre-pandemic it feels like

you guys have a better memory than me; yes, there was the 14oz canvas pack which they just should have kept in rotation and the grey/ seafoam blue pro model.

Those syndicate bulletproof joints were so fire too!!!
I think I may have also had a pair in 2006 that were navy canvas with brown tabs, but they may have been a Japan only release?

Question for Emericatm, does the Spanky G6 fit like the KSL, or is it more narrow?  On my third pair of KSLs and they fit my wide foot perfectly, but that new blue color for the Spankys is sick.
