Shanahan deserves one.   Lucien Clarke should get one.     Tommy Fynn or Jaako Ojanan seem like the only other reasonable choices - but I don’t know

Yeah, I was going to mention this. Nothing wrong with the toe shape since it's made by almost every skate/non skate brand out there. It's telling that they almost ONLY make that vamp, though. Overall quality of their shoes is lacking (won a pair and sold it as soon as I could) and feels off/looks homemade like another person said.

Similarities when I started skating and understanding skate shoes and brands the MJ1 was done, but it stood out in 411 and logic collections I was watching at the time. That and because I was child I wanted a shoe with a giant “M” on the side. I’ll be hype to finally get a pair.

It’s wild to think about that weird 2012-14 window where Mike Mo, Chris Cole, Evan, Wes, and Mikey Taylor had pro models.

Is it?   If they were selling well I’m sure they’d have no issue having shoes still in the line up.

DC had Evan Smith models out from 2015 - 2018 or 2019 with the Evan Smith S (low and mid) and then an Evan Smith Zero (low and mid). In the last year or two they gave him a team shoe and let him do multiple colorways - Manual RT. Though, that shoe is more team than his, but it's his unofficial shoe out right now as I learned.

As for Evan, he could still deserve a pro shoe but DC capitalized well when the rubber toe cap craze was hot back in 2015/2016. They sold well back then.

Kremer's pro shoe window has come and gone sadly. Love Wes because it seems like he's always traveling out of country to visit fans and skate these rural/less popular places. But it seems like he's more of a local legend pro at this point.

Is there any timing that has to be taken into account? I think Wes shoes were out 2012-2016 so there could have been more demand for a vans/janoski like shoe at that time than there is today for a dunk alike shoe today.

You’re trippin. People have been begging for this shoe since that one off they did years ago. Emerica doing pretty well right now if socal parks have any weight in the matter. I’ve seen a lot of ksls and winos around . When I go to the park it’s pretty much Nike, NB , adidas and then a smattering of emericas. Never see con’s any more. Saw a pair of fps last week but it was just Mickey papa.

No. It's just a similar color and has a strap. If you look at the close ups above, the toe and sidewall where the toe and bottom of the laces meet is completely different.

I've seen 2 pairs of Emericas at parks in SD, both people lamented them. And a pair of KSL at another park that was falling apart at the eyelets with a disappointed owner. I see way more Etnies, Lakai, and DC.

No. It's just a similar color and has a strap. If you look at the close ups above, the toe and sidewall where the toe and bottom of the laces meet is completely different.

Yeah different but it's clearly inspired by the howards.
