Those rowans in this color way look very good. Giving off heavy mid 2000s Vans vibes and I'm all for it. The sole reminds me of a NB basketball shoe.

Also everytime I see those low tops quasi shoes all I can see is this

I feel like this is a vans test to see if Kyle Walker is worth keeping on the team, this looks like it would be his new model but putting Rowan’s name on it would sell more

But this shoe shares so much more of the same paneling and details with the first rowan as opposed to any Kyle walker shoe

Against my better judgement i've been considering skating in some low tops again, my top priority will be heel lock if i do, these are a prime contender if they lock your heel in like the OG rowans.

Anyone skating the Zahba shoes? They are hyping a newer insole and Im hoping there is more cushioning to the ball of the foot. The heel on the Popcush is really comfy, but the front of the foot is way too thin for me

so i had the zahba in hand two hours ago. there no real insole. just regular ortholite shit. the shoes tech is in the midsole. thins out towards the toes but seems kinda alright. i would say more cushion/ padding than NB 440 for example. if they have my size next time ima try them on.

weartested.com did a review of the zahba recently, that might give you the answers you are looking for!

dunkalike with the toe stitching, soel looks good.....i like the design weirdly. do they remind me of vans aroud when bastien had a shoe and maybe those low top cupsole Cabs that scott kane skated/ endorsed?

I have been skating a pair for the last few weeks. The insole is thin but the midsole is nice and cushioned in the ball of the foot. Definitely better than popcush.

I do actually like those Rowan 2s too. They look like his first sole beefed up and on a legit cupsole, which could be a winning combo.

Those hightop cupsole Asics also look like they could be amazing too. Lots of exciting shoe news lol

Just need Vans to do a bmx Half Cab, which I am surprised hasn't already happened seeing as you can get almost every classic vans with a cupsole now through that range. Maybe they're keeping the style 114 as the alternative

Didn't cab upset some of the bmx community with his you can't halfcab on a bike stance? A Collab could be a nice way to bury the hatchet a bit like that wknd rollerblade thing.

Interested to see if they release any tech spec info on the Rowan cup sole like they did for the AVE Pro and Berle's. I kinda like nerding out on that stuff and Vans offers so many different types of cupsole, I'm interested in how they made this one different.

Honestly if they come in suede that's a plus for me. I've never skated better in a pair of shoes than I did the first go around with these.  If I can get that and have them not explode so fast I'm even more all in.
