might actually buy a pair of creagers if i can manage to afford them. i've been waiting for this reissue more than the og-1s. i actually had the white-blue ones way back and they were one of my favorite pairs of shoes ever. they looked so fresh. i hope they also reissue those. the black ones look great, too.

Vincent Milou was wearing them on the SLS IV Games. I found the white colorway but doesn't look good as the black one.

Personally, it scratches a nostalgia itch, but I don’t want to spend the $125 even if I like it.    I was willing to spend that on the Guy Axion remake because that was a shoe that I could never get my hands so it had an added oomph, not to mention it’s one of the most comfortable shoes I own.   This kinda feels like something I’d get and the novelty would wear off PDQ.

Yeah I almost pulled the trigger on the Kalises.  I did exactly what you recommended, but returned them (they were in the $80 range so it was more palatable) but it just didn’t feel like me anymore as opposed to when I was 16 and had a different style.   I do think about re-buying them every now and then…

Damn didn't know the price was that low back then,  but honestly still seems pretty on brand compared to other shoes released now.

Someone else mentioned it, but it's inflation. It's been 20 years. Costs have changed just from that, much less the fact that people are more willing to spend $100+ on shoes in general.

Ironically with inflation the Creagers are actually cheaper now versus then. 32% inflation in 10 years, 88% in 25 years.

Foam isn't expensive to make. Should consider inflation plus the air-bubble, unique tooling that has to replicate the original release. I don't know why people think the age of a product somehow changes the fact that it still costs the same money to make these things. In all honesty, nobody really cares if you buy these shoes or not. It's for a very specific consumer, and if you're not that market, then good for you. Don't buy it.

EmericaTM says the most expensive part is the sole mold which I’m guessing is where a lot of the cost comes from. 

The Kostons are 110 which is still high, but it looks like that’s just what they’re going to cost moving forward

That said, I don’t see how the Artos could justify being 100+ unless these prices are bc they’re paying these dudes better than $5/shoe - which would change my stance a bit

This is a very accurate thing. I remember being beyond stoked about those SLB mids years ago, got them and it was the worst shoe ever. Quality sucked balls badly but at least I got an apology from Don recognizing that the quality was subpar which is nice. Always wanted Creagers as a kid so again we're dealing with nostalgia in here.

Ordered 10.5 because Australia don't get half sizes ended up $188 I won't probably skate just chill.
I am tried of stretching shoes or having fucking drivers flappers. Most 11s specialy OG feels off when wring/bigger size.
