Another Japanese vans shoe. Guess things are circling around to the early-mid 00s of vans just putting a puffier classic upper on a basic cupsole. Could be how a cupsole halfcab eventually comes out (but I wouldn't count on it)

nah, the shape is very different, they're more padded up, they have a cupsole, that cupsole is very similar to the paradoxxx, which was a great and underrated shoe, seems pretty fucking cool to me

The XLTs skate pretty awesome. Chunky but they get good within short time. crazy to wear again after YEARS.

They look more durable than the originals, I can see wear on the rubber before the entire upper exploded haha.
I can't wait to skate my pair, glad to hear they skate great still.

I get that its more of an artisanal/passion project type shoe, but I feel whoring out one of your most iconic patterns cheapens its value.
