I find it interesting that brands don't put more faith in keeping prices down by 15% and selling more units.
as a retailer when i see shoes that should be in the 75-85 range being bumped up to 95+ i know how it will be received in the marketplace, That 20% of sales disappears because it prices out all the 17-24 demographic who have jobs and work for their money vs the kids who just want and mom/dad buys em.
It's crazy how $10 will make some people not even consider it. I've seen those kids just get chuck taylors or halfcabs instead,not even blink.
