They look good. Not really a fan of Samba’s though. Looks like the same color brown from the Boss NB# 480.

I got those vibes too. Slightly strange the obsession with Sambas lately. I love the Samba, but it used to be pretty strictly a leather only upper, suede toe-cap, gum sole ordeal. Now we've got all these nubuck, suede, patent leather Sambas flooding in. If anything I'd rather have the Gazelle with this color.

There's were some collabs with brands like Wales Bonner  and the samba go a lot of hype on social media, especially tiktok and celebrities like Jonah Hill and Bella hadid were wearing it.
So adidas is pushing it hard

peeped the lakai catalog. if you were hoping for something interesting to be coming out, I don't see it. looks like they're putting another vulc model out called the York. Herringbone outsole, telford/dunk-like toebox, but essentially a Griffin. Wilkins is getting a pro-model, looks pretty much like a HUF shoes model. Chocolate collab in March, Poler collab in July. I really don't know who's running Lakai but I'm not stoked on the direction they're going in.

Lakai sucks after FF and that's a fact.

They got taken over by HUF, it's never been the same since. I don't even think MC or Rick are thrilled with the brand now.
It's interesting to seem them just repeat the same thing over and over again. At the very least with Etnies they have an idea of what people want and are trying to work on that. The aurelien is out soon with a brand new Michelin sole, the Rap is coming in some new normal color ways, they're bringing back some retro 90s cupsole models like the Snake. Meanwhile Lakai is self admitting to just redoing the same shoe models over and over but at a cheaper price point.
