So I just got an ad for adios at Walmart. Begun these clone wars have.

Walmart.com is just some ebay/etsy type website now where multiple vendors can cross-post shit. Those Adios are ancient deadstock, and they're selling kids size 3 for $135. It's not an Adio comeback.

I liked the feel of these when I tried them on the other day. Are you sure there’s no counter in there or is there just a ton of foam/padding hiding it? I really didn’t examine the shoe fully when I was at the store so maybe I just missed it and obviously not wearing the shoe long enough.

The tongue tag is awful. But on a 2nd look i think they would look better with the laces not passing the central loops, and in better colorways.

Those aren’t a new design, I had a navy/baby blue pair back in like 02.

"Revision" of the DVS Milan, had a pair in maybe '05 and a giant chunk of the sole fell off, real quality...

Never touched DVS again, although was tempted by the JW2, velcro straps were hot at the time...

Those Vans look like the demon spawn of Atiba Jefferson and an Es Quattro, the confusion is too great to handle.

Those Vans look like the demon spawn of Atiba Jefferson and an Es Quattro, the confusion is too great to handle.

Prob second worst ankle sprain ever had was in DVS Milan's. My foot scraped along the ground and wore off like a half inch of the foam on the side.

The vans are just like an alternate version of willy Santos first vans shoe

Any idea or word on when the Kalis Ascend is dropping? Those are some of the best looking DC shoes I have seen in a moment.

I remember hen every brand had an exposed eva foam shoe. Some brands just used the aesthetic and made versions that were more durable. But In general they came unglued instantly.

Looks like mix of Tribeka, Kalis 1 and Decel

shoe looks decent overall but some of the fine details look under considered or poorly assembled. I don’t love the DC logo on the side getting cut off slightly by the back of that side panel. The silver bit at the front of the toecap also looks misaligned. Hopefully that’s bc these are samples but some of the recent OG releases I’ve received have had flaws of this nature so who knows.
