Did some random Googling earlier to see if Ipath has made it to Canada yet - seems like Zumiez made a preliminary post to their Canadian site with the black and Rasta colourway of the Grasshoppers (all black with rasta strap). They're not on sale yet, though.

I'm only looking forward to the Cats myself, just wondering if this is going to be the Grasshopper colourway that hits Canadian shops. If so, ehhh.

Quartersnacks has a MC96 colorway coming out.   Doesn’t look great to me, but who knows.   I just want the all brown sample Jimmy Gorecki posted a long time back

I guess there's some shoe convention in Vegas this week. Been seeing other new shoes coming out. Wonder if there will be other leaks coming out from there.

The back panel, collar and shape remind me a lot of the cons fast break everyone on slap seems to enjoy. Clean simple design and looks like it should skate well. I haven't gotten to try any Hours shoes yet (no size 13's at launch) but have seen some of their models in shops and the build quality and materials seem great just don't know about durability.

They look a lot like a cross between a 440 V2, Half Cab, and Fastbreak. Almost a dunk-like outsole. Something familiar but a little different.

Basically taking enough subtle cues from every shoe to create something with no identity, which is par for the brand. You can't dislike it but there's nothing memorable to draw you to it or remember it. I feel like Last Resort is the same but their shoes are so basic I actually remember them. These are like a Zara copy of a 440

I never put these back to back, but I don't see it. This is one of those things where it just confuses me. I feel like i'd need to hold both of them in my hands to pick up some ephemeral vibe and then it would click.

I like Dilo's pro model in that brick colorway. The black looks good, but I might actually order the other color.

Half cab upper + dunk sole= this shit. Looks Good though. Probably be $150.

I like that first run of DVS that were all named after cigarettes or something stupid. At the time was just a basic budget Etnies and I remember they all ended up on discount at some sports store but now looking back they're kinda nice ahaha.

The first Keenan Milton (AKA basically a slimmed down Air Force 1) was actually super good and I would skate that design today for sure:



Then the Keenan 2 which was sort of the same wasn't too bad. Looked cool with the clear soles when they used them.



Also it's bulky as fuck now and in retrospect looks too much like the Court Graffik style that everyone did, but back in the early 00s the Revival was rocked heavily by my group of friends because it was just a basic simple shoe that seemed thin back then. Filmed one of my favourite tricks I've ever done in white ones.

Getz 1 were fine and a lot of the early pro models were cool

If forced to wear DVS I'd have to pick the Berra 1 or Chico Mayan or prophet (guess I should start looking for some ps8's) but all those and dills were also looked at like jokes for a while too. I remember thinking the dills just looked like shitty blobs in person and thought it was weird how the soles came already bald

america cups pre-redesign are one of my favorite shoes ever but it just doesnt work on those Carrolls. Big fan of the idea but execution just left me disappointed.
