es is embarrassing in every way. I cannot believe they have an 'endorsed by Kelly Hart' badge in their catalog. They're allergic to good taste.

I like the mute emerica still seems cooked . Tjs shoe and the swift 2.0 actually gives me hope for es though - I still want my square one reissue but if they actually making affordable decent cupsoles for the kids they’ll be fine. 

I forgot who was hating on the Kelly hart endorsed badge but if it’s for that accel og he’s been working can’t be too mad - he seems really keen on making that shoe to the exact specifications of the original and I know this forum has begged for that.

I think these are a step in the right direction, I'm a sucker for skate shoes to look like skate shoes. Timeless shoes like Chucks and dunks are all we see now, from normies to skaters. I want my skate shoes to be performance base for skating, full length midsole and a padded upper. Where is this from Cons, Nike sb, adidas?

look what they did with the KSL (and the g6 outsole)...
also don't forget the phocus (that wasn't actually a phocus) with a whole new outsole that existed for exactly 1/2 a season (or the fact that they canned the Ed 2 resissue)

Honestly really loving the shoes in the emerica catalogs lol despite the massive amount of hate emerica gets I still buy and skate the shoes on a consistent basis. The mute and ksl 3 look amazing, they remind me of a pure skate shoe. I like the tech shoes from new balance and what not but sometimes it feels great to wear a shoe that looks purely like a skate shoe 🤷

looks really close to the og sole as well. I'll buy too. These were my go-to shoe in the early-mid 90's. I've grabbed each reissue but they've always missed the mark. The 20 yr was better than the more recent though.

If I’d care more about which shitty shoe companies I’m supporting I’d probably wouldn’t like buying from sole tech. But I like to skate slip ons and the wino works best for me. Don’t know why vans felt the need to completely fuck up the slip on. And I have a hard time pulling off a simple black and white slip on, let alone the slip ons from Nike and adidas with big shitty logos.

i skated the vickka slip on, they are cupsoles. super grippy and holding up super well, thin in the toe but its a treat to get a cup slip. i think all asics skate shoes are cupsole, i know the japan, splyte, vic nbd, gel flexkee and slip are. the aaron pro and the other one look like a cold cement wrap cup, but i could be wrong

I'm not simping (I can't believe I even just typed that gronk reddit term) for anyone. I couldn't care less about core shoe brands. I've skated in Puma Clydes for the last five years because they work well for me. Etnies Scams worked well for me back in the day too, and like I said, they look like an accurate reissue. I have a pair of the new Sals ready to skate in as well, because I like classic, suede cupsole shoes in simple colours. If they don't live up to what I remember, I'll just go back to skating Clydes.
