He’s a decently popular rapper these days so either way  I get why they’d give him a colorway. That said- he’ll yeah they’re so fucking confusing it’s pretty incredible they’ve been running a whole program for nearly 20
Years pretty much solely on Chuck Taylor variants. Wish they’d invest in some proper team models or just anything new again- pro models don’t count, shit I’d settle for just consistency with the shoes they do still make.

These have all been highly inoffensive so far. For under $50 and maybe some good reviews you can’t really be mad if someone does a true price point shoe again.

Maybe a hot take but how is this any different than [insert any corp shoe brand here] with white suits at the top with a skateboarding department that constantly needs to prove themselves to the higher ups of their relevancy/value/profits in order to not get axed. Even with 0 legacy and unless you are into other sports its all the same to me. Hire some smart marketing dude, place some obstacles with a letter “S” on it in your town and its decent.

Having traveled a lot across Utah, Nevada, and rural areas of the western U.S. there are a ton of kids who have no real access to skate shops and come from less fortunate backgrounds to where Skechers might be their best option. Probably better than Wal Mart Etnies.

I think Globe is doing a really good job… these don’t even feel like they’re being marketed as reissues - just a proper Rodney Mullen pro model. And then you have the shoes Austyn skates.

I’ve been skating the Austyn’s (and have another pair on reserve) and they’re honestly phenomenal skate shoes. I wouldn’t spend MSRP on them but for $29.99 clearance at zumiez, they’re one of my current favorites.
