The Zenith black shit* white vibrant yellow immediately resembles an exhumation of the Axion Genesis. Some may take the nostalgia pill on that one. The shoe itself isn't bad (for Lakai), looks 808 and DC inspired.

The Roman Hager cw is sick. Aguilar and Salabanzi models ain't bad looking. Most of the cws actually hit. What I don't get is why they don't consolidate their line. The vulcs all look the same with mostly the same features. Most of the cups look like they're all Telfords in different cws.

And to clarify, the odds of me actually purchasing those are slim-to-none, but in the grand-scheme of things, it is the most interesting design thing either iteration of "Lakai" has done since the mid-00's...

Regardless, I would never consider myself a current fan of either iteration...

Yes. I have had two pair. The sole is better than the regular Busenitz. Separated at the toe flick spot though. Other than that no complaints. This is the 15 year colorway.

I get what you’re saying, but it’s a catch 22 basic colorway is kinda always bland looking however can’t go wrong with a black, grey or white shoe. Take this from a guy finishing up skating Royal blue Gazelles…
