The Heat are about to barely be above .500.  Spoelstra won't last to December.

Lovin' every bit of this.

as bad as anthony is, pittman<anthony. pittmans a rookie, can't toss him in the starting line up yet, that'd be nuts, he's not ready.

did you guys just hear marv albert and steve kerr both say that pau was the best foreign player to ever play? what a fucking joke, pau gets more and more overrated every day. amazing player, but jesus fucking christ he's barely top 5.

Yeah I could see why you say that. Nash has been in the league longer and has a better track record so it's hard to compare the two. Nash has always been one of my favorites to watch, I absolutely love how the guy plays. Nash has his MVPs, Gasol has his championships and was the main guy who changed the Lakers from being mediocre to a championship team.

The Lakers deserved that loss, good god they played horrendous during those last 5 minutes.

That Paul Pierce twitter post is great, and will be one of the only things that I will like that Pierce has done.

man, shits were almost 100 just to sit in the 3's where i usually sit, pretty fucked, but i'm not watching them play some wack team. of course the obvious thing to do here is to bash the heat and all that jive, but the boston celtics really impressed me tonight.

ya i said it.

they did not give the miami heat any type of edge against them. last night looked like a bully beating up the new kid, and the new kid coming back for more and the bully just keeps on beating that ass.

spo is not the problem with the heat, riley's the puppet master in all of this, he's been telling spo what to do since he started his job here. riley takes notes during the big games, i'm sure they'll have a more consistent offense in the 3-4 months.

they are just not good enough on defense at any position, boston (and most legit teams) are still able to run their offense and score at will.

definitely out on a limb, if they win this year, i'll give them the title of best lakers team in this three peat, they aren't touching any of the last 3peats team, it's just not happening. we could also debate about some of the 80s team ya, but definitely not the 87' team. they could beat the 70's lakers i'll give em' that with maybe one exception but that's a reach. and the mikan era isn't even a question....
their bench is the best it's been in years, ya, hope you didn't mean best you've actually seen of any team in years or i'd have to question how you look at basketball games. and i'll bite my tongue on calling bynum dominant, and this generation's poor man's jordan* good luck to ya this season though.

man, this is probably gonna be a fucked up thing to say, but i really don't the league was that good when the lakers won that first 3 peat. shit, the only team that was seriously challenging them out west was a portland trailblazer team with an old pippen, rasheed (close to his prime) and motherfuckin arvydas sabonis and his damn behind the back passes. the east was so damn horrible back then too. iverson had no help when they played them, and nets had no chance.

i guess a weighing factor in of this is the fact that i have and always will hate shaquille o'neal. rick fox too.

Careless Blazers Goofing Around With Basketball Shatter Greg Oden Into Thousand Pieces

PORTLAND, OR - Although Portland Trail Blazers coach Nate McMillan has repeatedly warned his team about using the basketball around "valuable" and "really fragile" center Greg Oden, several players accidentally knocked the seven-footer to the floor with a carelessly thrown ball Thursday and shattered

Interesting article on the Heat http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=AvNq2q2pSllJ4QPuSAvf6za8vLYF?slug=aw-celticsheat111210

"James found himself in postseason shape, closing a loss to the Boston Celtics with a missed layup, two missed free throws and a corner 3-pointer off the side of the backboard."

"Now, 44 minutes in a grudge game with the Celtics is too much. Always an out, always an excuse." - On Lebron complaining that he played too many minutes.

Lebron is kind of a baby with the blame game. He played 47 minutes the night before but it was a different excuse then. Ray Allen is like 10 years older than Lebron, plays 40+ minutes pretty consistently and he's fine.  Millsap is a year younger, averages 40 or more minutes a game and is putting up more points. King better watch that.

Dude that was the worst. Especially considering Horry had literally missed something like 27 3's in a row up until that one.

Kevin Love just went for 31 and 31 against the Knicks, first time since Moses Malone in 1982 that somebody has had a 30/30 game, pretty fucking solid.
