When the hyphy movement was in full swing and every other dude in Oakland grew dreads, did you ever sit back and think, "bitin' my style?"

9 pages is pretty harsh so if my question is abd then just overlook it but, what is your all-time favorite spot? & if it's been torn down or skate stopped then what is your favorite spot that still excists also? thanks for the good attitude & vibes you put off into the world of skateboarding, there's a big lack of that these days.

LMAO!!! I feel you, man. I was pretty stoked on it for a while until  a lot of the dudes with dreads became killers. That bummed me out because when you have dreads you're supposed to be somewhat peaceful. Well, I guess thats how it used to be when I first started my dreads.

But I did think all of the fun aspects of the hyphy movement were pretty entertaining.

For sure my all-time favorite spot has to be Embarcadero. Not being bias but that place had everything for the 90's skater :o No and days I skate so many different spots its hard to pick just one but I really like the Richmond skatepark, that place is fun!

Thanks for the kind words  ;D

What's going on with organika? Seems like a good team and you have guys that are way over due to be turned pro. Expedition just got a nice bit of attention and seems like it's doing better. When are we gonna see a push with you guys?

Hey Karl who do you shred with on the reg? any mainstays/bros? oh... and do you play any instruments/make music, etc?

Also wanted to tell you I'm a fan of your shred sled engineering, been a huge Kayo supporter for years.

First off, you're always one of my favorite poster on here. I love your cartoon thingy ;D ;D its too funny.

I usually skate with local rippers mostly in the East Bay. But I always have fun skating with my teammates, as they are all my homies :-* Richard Jefferson is someone I skate with a lot too.

I do paint mandala type pieces but unfortunately no musical skills. I've tried but not too good at it. Tommy and Rays music is amazing though. I love those dudes.  Do you get down on the musical tip?

Righteous! Thanks for taking your time to answer these questions man. Just started with the music and fell in love with bass and drumming. So that and skating are keeping me stoked. I agree hardcore on Ray and Tommy's playing straight TALENT.

If you ever get the time post some of your pieces, love to see them. Also appreciate the kind words.  Stay rad!

Good question.
I recommend you film your friends, build your skills  and then submit their footage to different people. If they end up getting sponsored, you'll most likely be their "personal filmer". Good luck, Sarcasm.  U can do it!
