Karl,

What do you think of English skaters?

And do you agree that it's a ton harder for UK skaters to get coverage they deserve due to lack of perfect spots and companies all being based in the US?

obviously im not Karl (i wish HA) but the spots bieng all rough doesnt make it harder to get coverage, infact usually it makes it easier because we can do simpler tricks on harsher spots and still get coverage because the trick is "as gnarly" but yes the fact that most big companies are based in the US makes it harder but there has been a great increase in UK indipendant board companies in recent years so theres more options.

I'll answer it too. That industry, those magazines, and the photographers and filmers that film for it are from the U.S., built from an industry started in the U.S. It's not like God came down and said that people in the states deserve coverage and people in the U.K. don't. The fact is that the U.S. built its own scene and sponsored skaters from that scene. The fact that U.K. skaters want to be part of the U.S. industry is kind of dumb. You want more industry in the UK? Start a magazine, start a company, build a spot. The U.S. industry doesn't owe the U.K. shit. Fucking entitled Europeans need to realize it has been well established you aren't the center of the Universe.
Also, most cities in the U.S. are rough. Just because SD and LA are smooth doesn't mean the other 98% of America is always skating smooth spots
Are you a kook? If you would say this, the answer is “YES”
I quit skating for a time due to piling out

Truthfully, you answer most things whether they are questions or not, so I don't know if the opener was needed, but that answer comes pretty correct..

You criticize Austin yet you don't begin your sentence with a capital letter or end it with a period.

What would you do if J Cassonova begged for a spot on Organika because Selfish went out of business and his rapping didnt work out and he had no way to make ends meet?
LOL! I would tell him to go back to his roots and forget about becoming the next big rapper... I think if he publicly gave up rapping and solely focused on skating he would be excepted in the skateboard community again... But he doesn't fit Organika.

Well, I don't really think about English skaters being any different then US skaters. But I do see the downside to living outside of the states when it comes to getting recognized on an international level.  And yes, the spots are no joke out there. They're kinda like East Coast spots..

Dude! Thanks!! I love that song and when Anthony Claravall recommended it for my part I was stoked... A lot of folks thought it didn't fit my style/image but I like rock and different types of music more than reggae and hip hop. I pretty much like what sounds good and PIL is tight :o
