sitting on front five-oh's on transition is my favorite thing. perfect way to warm up and one of the only tricks I can push as hard as I can into and feel totally confident. skateboarding is cool.

Ordered shoes from SPoT and sent an email to Vans telling them to rerelease some suede slip on classics.
Still getting over a cold so thats as close to skating as I'm getting today.

we've got this new parking garage w/ an antechamber that's just for us. a waitress smoked weed w/ my friend there last wk and we got locked in the other night but you just press the button to open the gate and it shuts on it's own. we're talking about installing the box there fulltime since we have the run of the place and it's also free downtown parking! did a nollie shovit boardslide for old time's sake and a switch boardslide shove cause i never had. poor trick selection all day, every day!

got a new parking garage basement that i hafta roll under a railing and slide down a pole to access. then i open a door and let my friends in on the ground floor. it's warmer than outside, has tons of wood to assemble into manny pads, pyramids, whatever and my buddy's little brother came out w/ us tonight, breaking himself trying to skate. he's coming off a few yrs binge of some heavy shit and just kinda realizing skateboarding now, total epiphany every time he skates. hope he stays w/ it, also hope the new garage stays lit, secret and sustainable through these cold months.

everything in ny/nj was snowy but we found a heated hallway in the parking garage. it was cramped but i did a wallride on a 90 degree angle, it had been a while.

led zeplin's 'been a long time since i rock n rolled' came on the radio at the park and i landed possibly my first kickflip 5050 since the 90s. long time indeed! tonight i won 3 games of SKATE against my pal, his brother and son. his brother only did shoves and 180s, his 16 yr old did a 'my dick flip' on offense and matched a halfcab flip and some other stuff. then we dragged 50 bricks to our DIY so come spring we can make a brick bank to cement wall. gonna be so tit!

Skated for the first time in over 2 months today. It's -7 here (+19 US temp).. but it was finally dry enough to go out. Did a dozen kickflips in my driveway then I pretty much couldn't breathe anymore so I came inside.
