no, he isnt claiming to be a neighborhood, but at the same time, he says "friendly neighborhood spider man" as if there is one of him for every neighborhood. which is not true.

Therein lies the joke. The phrase is supposed to an ironic take on the cliched phrase "your friendly neighbourhood [blank]". There isn't much to ponder here.

Bed Intruder video, how original. I never gave it much thought but I'm surprised I couldn't figure out the Spidey catch phrase. Totally makes sense now though.

Having a laugh track doesn't mean a show isn't funny.

I think I read something about a laugh track being used to let the audience know where the punchlines are or sonething like that. I'm probably wrong though.

This kid is great for his age and all but who actually hangs out with and films 12 year olds all day? It just seems a little pedo no matter what.

Edit: This reminds me of something I saw the other day. This dad is walking with his 5 year old or so kid, holding his hand and he is wearing a fucking pedo-bear sweatshirt! I sort of doubt he knew what the character was. I almost wanted to tell him. Also wish I had a camera that moment.

I'm the most indecisive person.  2 things I'm trying to sort out at the moment:

Possibly going to B-school...which means I'd have to take the GMAT and actually learn something in college this time.

I'm also thinking about saying fuck it and flying to Berkeley to meet up with the ex.  She's been bugging me about it for well over a year and now she has her own place, but I could open pandora's box.  We've got quite the fucked history, but never permanently quit talking.

How am I going to run 10 miles, like I promised myself, on my birthday? (next week)
I've been doing like 3-4 mile runs but fuck, 10 miles.

Wish me luck.

Slow down pace until you find a pace that gets you somewhere but still feels comfy . Then just keep pushing and dont start walking cause you will never start running again ( atleast thats the way it is for me )

If you saw Mark Rogowski drowning would you save him? What if you guys were stranded on an island together? Does that make a difference?

I ran exactly that way today M.B. I did this 4-5 mile run today but compared to my last time doing it, I took off 15 minute of my previous time and it felt great. Nice pace but nothing too harsh and if felt easy. I didn't even think of walking. Afterwards I had a banana, flax seed peanut butter shake with skim milk and went skating for 3 hours. I feel awesome about my endurance. (sorry, should have put this in things I'm stoked on)

If you're stranded on an island and you don't know anything about light refraction/spear throwing, maybe you should save dude so you can eat him after you murder him on land. Fish are just fine though, Dave. They've been preserving and eating fish with a heavy salting for millennia on the Asian continent, my dude. I'm talking fish jerky.

Greg,
This is a great post, as you mentioned fish jerky is a beautiful extraction of heavy salting, it just so happens I know a lot about
preparing the right fish jerky.

1. Make sure you choose the right fish, make sure it's fresh. Dehydrated fish are the best.

2. Try to slice the fish into strips about 3/8" thick. If they are evenly spaced fellas they'll dry evenly.

3. Salt kills microorganisms and prevents the growth of more by drawing water out of the cells of the microbes and the fish.

4. I doubt you guys really care about jerking fish so were gonna skip the rest of the list and move on.

As for Mark, I would like to show him one day the finer arts of preparing a nice jerking (good ol fashioned) but I'm afraid we live in
a different world. Yet to this day, would I save him if he was drowning? I don't know. It's like being handed all of gods power to
bestow on a feeble minded povershed soul.

David, what are you talking about? I love jerking fish! I don't think I could jerk Gator though. He's probably getting enough of that in prison.

Oyolar, I really appreciate the post and I'm glad you too like to jerk fish, the Indians have always had a good rendition
on jerked fish, my wife and I usually throw in mushroom soy sauce, vegetable oil, 1 heaping teaspoon Walkers Wood jerk( for extra jerk) , and basic vinegar oils, I then strip the fish and mix into my bowl of mushroom soy ect.. Put those babies on the grill and let em brown, I'll usually pour some red wine over the fish and serve over a serving of asparagus. My wife is a vegan which means I am too so I enjoy this dish every 2 to 3 weeks. If you guys ever need advice in the kitchen shoot me a P.M and we'll take things further. Some people would never think of cooking jerky but I feel it gives the meat a fresh flavor.

Was out skating on Friday night and an old woman with a couple shopping bags laid down at one spot I was at.  This prompted me to ponder why homeless people, drug users, and skateboarders are all attracted to similar spots.  My girlfriend responded 'hassel free benches?'
