If a guys name is Peter Peterson, does his sons last name become Petersonson?
there was actually a exchange student in my History class named Peter Peterson. He was tight.

When I was a kid, I read in Skateboarder that Dill had a guest trick in Arto's Sorry part.

After reading that, I rewatched the part a few times to see if I could spot Dill, but never had any luck. Then forgot about it.

Tonight I was randomly thinking about it, watched the part again, still didn't see it. Did some research, and lo and behold:

Jason Dill does the bs smith in the grey hood.

Thanks, that explains it. You can't see his hair from back then, it doesn't really seem like a Dill trick either.  And since I'm fully nerding out right now as usual, this reminds me of Keenan and Gino's Mouse part, I wondered who did the f/s noseslide down the rail. I asked Crailtap and Meza said it was actually Keenan, and that it confused a lot of people.

Well my mind is blown. never knew that was Dill.

A friend of mine had a roommate with this name. He was not tight.

How FUCKING COOL would it have been if while Henry Rollins was the singer for Black Flag that they'd have covered "Street Fighting Man" by The fucking Stones? Like maybe I'm completely biased since I shook hands with Mick Jagger while I was a huge Black Flag fan during the Bridges to Babylon tour. Maybe I was even wearing my fucking Black Flag T-Shirt that I fucking Hand Dyed Myself at the concert that happened at? Well I'm guessing I was. Anyway just the IDEA of Black Flag covering the Stones doesn't just sound bullshit at all to me. Has to be Henry though. Yo what if Henry Rollins never left Black Flag? How much fucking better would life be? A lot if you ask me. He's still alive. He doesn't seem as pussy as Mike V to me. Yo what if they had Jay Adams as a singer instead? You think he'd still be dead now? Well maybe he just didn't like Black Flag? Why Mike V? C'mooooonnnnnnn

Would a drawing of a butterfly knife with the words "You're my butterfly, sugar, baby" underneath it (like that dumb song from the 90's) make for a good t-shirt? wait i didn't ponder that at all that actually is dope.

That's awesome man! I did this with my second child. When I had my son in the first ultrasound they said the baby was a girl then we went to go get those 3D ultra sounds months later and that's when we found out we were having a boy. Crazy feeling to have. That made us just wait when we were having out 2nd child which was a girl. That's awesome that you guys are willing to wait though almost nobody does that nowadays, everyone is too impatient.

Thanks Monkey! It was my mum that talked us into it. She put it this way "these days you can find out everything from how to cook any dish you want, to what your favourite celebrity had for lunch, not finding out is natures true surprise" .. It was hard at first, but I'm beyond pumped now that we didn't find out.

We did this for both of my kids.  If you wanted a particular sex for your child and found out you weren't getting the one you wanted ahead of time, then that poor kid is already getting hated on before he or she isn't even born.  I just wanted a healthy baby, and I'm glad we had two kids without any major complications.

October 21 is almost here, so been reading about time

A feature of time is flow. There's the determined/fixed past, undetermined/open future, and the now that flows into the future making more past.

The problem with the experience of flow is that it's not consistent with  laws of physics. For physics, there's no direction to time, since given enough information, the future and past are just as knowable.

To solve the problem, they look to entropy, since entropy gives a direction, since it increases.

But even if entropy increases, wouldn't the future still be knowable by the laws of physics?
So how can entropy account for the experience of time, since it doesn't give a privileged now and undetermined future?

And since entropy is only statistical, sometimes entropy decreases. But if we were in a system of decreasing entropy, we wouldn't experience going backwards in time. So, how can entropy account for our experience of time, since decreasing entropy is not reversing the flow of time?

In the movie Biodome from 1996 Stephen Baldwin and Pauly Shore 2 slackers/ stoners get trapped in a science project , A biodome .
During their first night staying there , both baldwin and Shore (separately) into the beds of 2 female scientists and start touching them until they wake up and kick them out of their rooms

Does anybody ells find this kind of creepy ? or was the 90s just ok with things like this ? I mean a man climbing into bed with a sleeping woman they hardly know and start groping them . Thats pretty much borderline rape ?

Am I a moron for wanting to buy those Levi's Skate sweatpants?  I would never skate in them, but I spend a lot of time in sweatpants, so I'd be getting my moneys worth.  I think?  70 bucks for sweatpants?  Lord knows I love my sweatpants.

90s you could get away with more shit. Look at old sitcoms, like for example Married With Children, there would be no way shows like that could be on the air now. People get offended too easily now. That's why we have shows like The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother (when that was on the air). Thanks America

Edit: Also Bio-dome rules
