Today I pondered which pro skaters I would probably let talk to me about God, and I decided that listening to Tom Penny or Peter Smolik slur and mumble their way through a Jesus rant would likely be pretty entertaining for a few minutes.

I was contemplating how difficult it is to have people REALLY care about you beyond just the topical sympathy/empathy. 

Spouse, kids… yeah those are given. Parents? Probably…

But coworkers? “Friends”?

(Friends in parenthesis because I find making real long term friends really difficult. I’m a loner mostly)

Wtf do mosquitoes do when there's no humans around? I'm in a remote place and there's about 500 of them on my legs at all times. Never seen any animals around here, there's like two mooses but that's it. Do they all just die when I'm not around?

Here's the thing, you can fight back!  Load up on DEET repellent, cover up like a mosquito-proof ninja, and maybe limit your time outside at dawn and dusk when they're extra hungry.

I feel you and kind of agree, I guess I got stuck pondering it because it's etymology is definitely referring to a testicular/scrotal injury. I couldn't think of any other skateboarding phrases that were gender-specific. We can all get credit-carded, but can we all get sacked?

This is not a big deal, I just thought it was a legitimate pondering and worthy of putting out there as a thought.

How about: sacked, as in short for “ransacked.”

“The handrail ransacked my crotch.”
“He/she really got ‘sacked”
“His/her crotch really (ran)sacked that rail.”

Now I’m pondering how lovely this conversation really is.

That thing is stairs in it and it’s brown. One of the most fun games on earth is go up do a pivot of some type come back and blast over the stairs. It’s like as fun as doing high speed crooks on a granite glory block.
