Skaters with i phones or any mobile...

Read through from the beginning of the thread to this point..

Damn, these forums are funny.. But at the same time there is so much ignorance and pretentiousness that it makes me feel so little inside :'(

is wearing a shoelace for a belt still cool? i see kids who don't even skate doing it and i noticed a lot of pants u buy at the mall come with a shoelace on the pants. also a lot of kids rocking extra long shoe laces so u can see them and they dont keep your pants up.

kids who can do every flatground trick but can't 50-50 a ledge. Games of SKATE = the new freestyle.
[close]
this is so true, I just wish I had though of it first. Kids who can do shitty 360 flips and nollie heels yet hang up and slam on a rock to fakie on a 3 ft quarter, so stupid
[close]
I've never seen it to that extreme, I doubt that anyone can 3 flip and not be able to rock fakie. But I will admit that most kids can barely backside 50 a qp, but they have a sick flatground game; But skateparks being crowded as they are nowadays I dont blame them for not skating ramps that much.

Believe it.

Not that I couldn't but I would definitely feel a lot more comfortable doing a tre flip than doing a 5050 on a quarter pipe. And I'm no kid - I've just spent a lot more time tre flipping than skating quarter pipes.

Most kids I know today are at least passable at tranny, since all they skate is parks - it's inevitable that at some point they'll learn to roll around the bowls and do basic shit.

i hate to admit it but ive got a fair amount of tricks down stairs (such as nollie heels) but im known to take a good slam trying rock to fakies. ive been trying to skate more tranny since i moved somewhere with a good park. never skating tranny for your first 6 years skating will do that to you for sure

I also noticed maybe since around baker 3 (im sure some 90's dude is could prove me wrong) its not "real street skating" unless they have some clips of impoverished black people rambling on camera. Is that shit supposed to be funny or something?
[close]
i will agree with you there, and if they're not black, they're at least high or drunk.

That dates back to at least one or both of the first two Plan B videos.  There's a lot of that going on in early 90s vids.

Im getting tired of the Dylan Rieder pants, kids folding them all the way up to their calves. I can see you do that if your pants are too long and don't want it to drag, but its getting too ridiculous now.
