Almost finished with The Residence on Netflix. One of the more solid shows I’ve watched in awhile from Netflix. A lot of garbage shows on there these days.

Prolly late to this one, but I finally watched “they cloned Tyrone” and I enjoyed throughly

I agree. I’m trying not to give mid 90s a shot again rn. I’m not gonna make it. I might throw that on.
Album link. I saw another pals account   Photos too big. Apologies. I know some of yall hate me for it

I've enjoyed Tires a lot can anyone suggest something similar?

I would try Southside. Its pretty great and hilarious. great writing by some current comedians. HBO max has it.
(havent seen 3rd season though)

I don’t know why it took me so long to get around to watching Fargo, I am a huge fan of the movie but I remember when the series came out I was like nahhh I’ll pass but I just binged season one and holy shit that was incredible I must say. Give me the late pass.

Season 2 might be the best.    Chris Rock season is the only lesser season and it’s still not bad

Smoke on Apple+ is pretty solid so far.   Was waiting to bank up a bunch of eps.   Written by Dennis Lehane (Gone Baby Gone and Shutter Island Books, wrote on the Wire) about arson investigations

Murderbot is also a nice enough watch.   It’s not amazing, but enjoyable.  Probably best as a binge

I finished it the other day. I don't know how to feel about it just because I expected something different than what it actually turned out to be. I'm not disappointed I watched it, but I also kind wanted a little more I guess. I'm just glad to see Sam Neil still out there

These murder shows happen so much it’s hard to be genuinely shocked by twists
Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.
though Smoke is at least structured different so it doesn’t feel the same

is it actually good? my brothers and I still quote the og everytime we see each other so I've been hesitant to give it a shot. Couldn't be bothered to watch the dumb and dumber sequel

It’s god awful.   Every scene has three unnecessary cameos in it along side putting every single pro golfer in the movie, the plot has to slow down and re-show clips from the old movie so you understand characters re-appearing so they can make a joke about people not liking lawyers, there’s a recurring joke about the bad guy having bad breath which makes so sense to do because it’s a visual medium.   Literally every joke from the first movie, no matter how small has to be referenced.

There were about 3-5 laughs, but it’s got fucking Rob Schneider doing the “you can do it” shit in there and the kind of dialogue that lets you know they expect you to be watching this while on your phone.   Adam Sandler movies stopped being tolerable once his characters had kids and once he started casting his wife and daughters in big roles.

Chief of War with Momoa on Apple+ is pretty good so far.   It’d be reductive to call it the Hawaiian Islands Apocalypto bc it’s a more expansive story actually made by the people of that cultural heritage, but that’s probably the easiest way to describe it

Freaky Tales is on HBO, worth the watch just for the fact that there's been a lot of Nazi talk lately and it's nice to see a good beatdown for them. Plus Too $hort, so why not

yeah, loved this one...

so many shows eventually just get plagued with stupid plot twists vs. just focusing on good characters....

It was def one of those shows where I didn’t realize I had watched the final episode until nothing came up the following week

Laid up sick in bed yesterday and watched:

Barbarian (loved it)
Shark Whisperer (meh)
Reptile (liked it, love Benicio)
All quiet on the western front (brutal, watch it in German)

Haven't gotten around to watching yet, due to the amount of shit Im watching with Pedro in it...but if there is OP Ivy depiction Im super stoked for it.  I was one of those underground 3rd wave ska kids in the late 90s lol and Op Ivy was our bible

I don’t think it’s a spoiler to say it’s like a couple of interconnected short stories (the Tales part of the title) so it’s not Pedro heavy.   But it’s cool to see these depictions of Op Ivy, Too Short, and I think negative approach in ‘87 (actors are portraying them all so I’m assuming it’s meant to be these bands in the world of the movie and not just another band in that world doing a cover)

Alien: Earth seems promising based on the first two episodes. Probably wouldn't have even bothered if Noah Hawley wasn't the showrunner.

I just finished the first two episodes so far and I'm definitely in. I love Aliens, but I do like the weird synthetic/artificial human aspect that a lot of the fans of the series seem to gravitate towards.
