not expecting too much from the RAPTORS this year, but its nice to know the team is always in good hands and will play competitive games all year and make a little noise in the payoffs.

So happy the NBA is back.  I'm a long suffering Pistons fan, but that Philly/Cleveland game was sick.  Weird to see Mitchell in a Cavs uni though.

Thoughts about the first few games I watched:

-Pelicans looked Amazing. Zion playing bully ball (while double teamed!) with Ingram getting whatever shot he wants is going to be a problem for other teams

- Detroit looks really good, shame that they might tank again

- Charlotte SHOULD tank for the French dude but won’t because last time they tanked they ended up with Micheal Kidd-Gilcrest.

- Even though Knicks lost, they showed that they have some sneaky depth and versatility where the best dudes don’t have to be hot every game. Biggest problem is Derrick Rose is still their only consistent dude.

- Lakers are pretty fucked unless they trade AD. Sounds counter intuitive but that’s the only piece  they have that can lead to some roster depth.

- The warriors drama is overblown, Draymond will leave after this season but who cares.

Carpetbagging ass Clippers.   Don’t really care that they won, doesn’t sting like it did once.  As long as the Warriors have this roster, what’s the point of being kinda good.

Only thing that matters is making it to the playoffs. Anything can happen there

Nah both LA teams have a chance against GSW if rosters are healthy (Lakers trading Russ for shooting of course). AD is a real problem. Maybe you should just trade him, keep Russ and all the garbage shooters and quietly tank for the french dude.

Oh you’d be assuming we own those picks.   I believe lakers don’t have picks until 27 and 28, which is usually what they’re asked for in addition to Westbrook but Lakers won’t give them up.

French dude is definitely going to go to a very unexciting destination.   Wizards feel right as a team (but city is kind of too big) but I have no idea if they’re bad enough to get that pick

Sixers got a rough draft for the first two games. Harden is looking a bit washed, but I’m excited about Maxey.
