Finally made it!

Congrats to him and San Antonio.

Word Im stoked for T-Mac. Im suprised they SWEPT the grizzlies tho, i thought theyd at least put up a pretty good fight. Anyway, with the Spurs as the last "old" team standing id like to see them win it all this year. With all these new teams coming up with the old dynasties coming down its sorta like a changing of the guard. It would be cool to see them cap off the end of an era with a championship.

Yay !  ;D

Whats going on with the pacers ?  first 2 games really close , pacers just loosing by bad luck almost , and then game 3 was Heat killing the pacers ?

I guess if they tie it up now they can do it , Heat being the Heat though

Anyways I have faith in the spurs , go spurs !

Honestly I had trouble falling asleep last night thinking about match ups between San Antonio and Miami (if Heat advance) and I've came to the conclusion that San Antonio will win the 2013 NBA Championship.

Hell, the bench team almost beat Miami the first time they played this season. When most starters got sent home.

Fined for nothing.

As a lifelong Dallas Mavs fan I dislike the Spurs and never root for them, but I have to respect them. I have total hatred for the Heat though so it's easy to back the Spurs for this.

yeah Stephan Jackson would be the man for the job if he was still there. Why did he get waived or whatever?

Stephen Jackson got waived bc he was shooting 27% and was complaining about his role on the team.

no doubt McGrady was one of my favorite SCORERS of all time...but there aint no way in hell you can expect him to play any form of lockdown defense, especially on lebron

another terribly officiated game by joey crawford to add to his long list of terribly officiated playoff games.

bad calls both ways but the worst being that shot clock violation on the pacers when the ball clearly hit the rim and lebron getting fouled out o a bullshit screen.

worst ref in the nba by far

Reason why he got traded from GSW to the spurs for RJ.

I remember he wouldn't even try at certain games. He wanted to get out of there.

The Lebron foul was a tripping foul, they were calling it all game on both sides but in that situation I was surprised they blew the whistle.

As much as im loving the pacers popping the heats cherry, i really want to see spurs-heat. Game 3 heat was the same as game 3(?) knicks, the pacers just crumbled. It almost doesnt count.game 4 they were completely unphased. This could easily be 3-1 pacers lead. Why arent they putting norris cole on the court? The dude literally runs around like a squirrel and feeds the ball to the right guys at the right moments, draws defenders. and is overall a very annoying player to keep up with. I think a guy like him really has something to offer when youre playing a game against a team that has to keep big guys on court and cant really go small. He ups the tempo.

Don't care who the Spurs play, just want this series to go to 7 to wear either team out, Spurs getting 9 days off is a gift, those fools need it.

Kinda agree with that . longer break for the spurs , more practice , more rest , more bodies healing up

if it goes to game 7 that would be great .

The Pacers Heat series will be taxing even if it goes to 6 games those guys are pratically wresting each other under the basket half the time. Pacers just beat up on you that's how they play. You can tell Lebron is getting worn out having to guard West and pretty much the whole team on switches as the series goes.

That same statement can be said for just about every team and  3 in the league. At this point you just have to let lebron get his and worry about every one else.

spurs are a complete team, incredibly well disciplined, and all talented defenders. they wont stop lebron, but they will frustrate him. if he even gets there.

..Well coached AND battle tested. Being from Houston, I'm by no means a spurs fan, but you cant deny the chemistry those guys have. It's like if one of the 3 have a bad night, one of their other players step up. Even Diaw's fatass.

I hate this time of year however. The Astros are an abomination so baseball is outta the question.

Does anyone else think Dwade is a washed up punk at this point in his career? Breaking Kobes nose in the all star game, kicking that one guy in the nuts, the elbow he threw at David West... I think that if he wasnt a former finals mvp he'd be getting a lot of shit for being a dirty player. Whats worse is that he isnt even that good anymore. Fucking chalmers has been playing better than he has. The only way the heat get past the pacers is if lebron puts up two monster games because the rest of the heat are being outplayed by the pacers.

PS Fuck the heat but I could not believe lebron's 6th foul or D wades travel call in game 4

I'm kinda indifferent about the lebron call but wades travel was super obvious. He ran like he was about to pull up for the 3, hesitated for second then changed his mind & tried to put the ball back on the floor to make another pass. I actually laughed when I saw it. I wouldn't say he's washed up just yet because he always has the potential to make plays but he's definitely on the downside of his career as his body starts to slow down. He gets a lil carried away on the court sometimes but I think personally he's a decent guy. You see him take that one Miami heat fangirl to prom? Granted she was actually pretty hot but still that's pretty cool to do ona celebrity level, although at the same time kinda iffy to do during the playoffs.

What I wanna know is what he's been doing with that knee of his. Funny how hell leave the game to retape it then all of the sudden comes out guns blazing. When Craig Saeger asked how does it help him all he could say was "it does a lot of things". I mean really you would think a professional athlete would have a more concrete answer to such a simple question. Like "it just gives me peace of mind" or " it helps to retape it after the first wrap gets a little loose" or some shit like that. I dunno that shit just seems kinda weird to me.

He's probably getting some weird shit done to it in the locker room during those little time outs. Sports medicine is crazy as hell nowadays.

Wade definitely looked bad for stretches in game 4 though, so I don't think the Heat can afford many more injuries against the Pacers. The big three were all kind of bad actually, and the three point shooting is still not there. It's kind of funny considering the talk about how crucial three pointers are to 'modern' NBA offense that the Knicks and Golden State are out of the playoffs, and the favourited teams in each of the conference finals have shot a pretty poor 3 point % in their series' so far (or are the Grizzlies/Pacers). Entirely meaningless, but funny.
