If you thought t macs (blatantly inflated) per 36 you should see jalen rose's per 36 in his last season on the d'antoni suns. Makes Jordan look like scrub.

jalen rose was never dropping those stats in the clutch of the nba finals, spurs 30 point lead was in jeopardy t-mac was tasked with coming back in and establishing their lead and stopping the heats rythm from developing

Lolz, spurs fans trolling with that seven nation army chant, that was the icing on an already delicious cake. Heat totally choked though, the shooting is what it is but they werent really getting in between a lot of lazy passing. Shouldve been a lot more turnovers than that.

t-macs per 36 that game:

72 assists
36 rebounds
0 points

imo he moves ahead of lebron on the goat list if he wins a ring this year

I bet you are secretly the biggest Lebron fan. Like collecting-his-sweaty-headbands-postgame-and-squeezing-them-into-your-juice level fandom.

Fucking wish some of those points could spill over into game 4.  going to be a different story for both side once Parkers MRI results come back...

EDIT: Results are negative on a tear, strained hamstring "Hopes to play" game 4.

If Lebron is truly great he will put on an amazing performance that should ultimately result in a win, especially since he's publicly stated he takes the blame for that loss. I want the Spurs to win the series but if I had to put money down on game 4 i say Miami takes it. Lebron (should) go for 30+ points and/or a triple double with some late game heroics if needed.

I knew San Antonio was going bring it hard but god damn I did not expect that! Gary Neal and Danny Green were just torching Miami!! haven't seen a team shooting performance like that since Orlando hit 25 3s a few years ago. Now everyone thinks Miami is going to have thier signature bounce back game but you know what? I think thier luck runs out Thursday night that "on switch" will fizzle out Lebron will get his but Spurs will shut down everyone else

37 point lead , Green and Neil just fucking destroying the heat . Really nice to see players stepping up when Duncan and Parker are not having super games .  Leonard is amazing too , Manu playing like he shoul ,  Wish the red mamba was hitting those 3s though

When the spurs machine is working its the ultimate team , so much teamwork and so much heart

San Antonios home crowed is just fucking great too !

Really stoked on Jason Kidd getting the job as the new head coach for the Nets. Should be interesting to see what kind of a coach he becomes.

Didn't the owner Prokhorov promise a championship by 2015? I don't think hiring a coach with ZERO actual coaching experience is really the best way to go about that, although, with all honesty, the roster they have locked up until 2015 wouldn't be a contender even with Pops on the bench instead of Jason Kidd.

Dan gilbert also promised the cavs would win a championship in cleveland before the heat would (in comic sans no less) and look how far that went....

Anyways kidd getting the job sucks for the nets but itll be fun for everybody else to watch. Who knows, maybe he'll do a good job. They say hes improved every team hes been on as a player.

As a player though... coaching is a whole different animal. The Nets seem to be an unmotivated team (a la Joe Johnson), yet one of the biggest payrolls. It will certainly be interest to see how he handles that.

Was thinking the same thing. Probably the biggest obstacle for Kidd.

Him & Deron Williams are supposedly real cool and D-Will always looked up to him as a player so he has that going for him. Obviously it's gonna take a while for him to adjust to coaching, and he's gonna have alot of pressure on him in Brooklyn, but I've got faith in him. He's always been one of the smartest point guards and he has 19 years of NBA experience. If anything he has potential. Give em a few years (if he happens to last that long) and well see where he's at.

I love in professional sports when there's a questionable call (the moving screen call on Duncan where Bosh flopped) and they bring out an "expert" to explain why the refs were right when even the commentators were confused by the call.

Heat should be up by more, that passing is gonna kick the spurs in the ass in the 2nd half if they dont fix it.

although i have to say i will not be bummed if d-whistle goes off for the rest of the series and gets a finals mvp over lechoke that would possibly be more embarassing than the spurs winning

I still hate the 2-3-2 format. It makes no sense and gives very little lee-way to the team with no home court. It is difficult to beat any team 3 in a row so I don't get how it is beneficial in this age of basketball. Having said that, I do believe the Spurs win game 5.

Spurs have to win game 5 or its a wrap in 7 for sure. D Wade finally played some ball.  SA needs Splitter to sit on the bench, dude just can't handle the basketball at all, and his free throws are so hard to watch.

This series has been interesting as fuck to watch; both teams playing at an extremely high level. The fuck happened to Parker and Ginobili last game though? Like dude on grantland said, Parker has to play on a transcendent superstar level for the Spurs to win...now they have to beat Miami 2 out of 3 with 2 of the games in Miami, i dunno man...
