You can have the draft after the season has started?

Can you please infrom us as soon as possible about the time because it'll most likely be really awkward for me and i'll probably be quite drunk since my friends from my hometown are visiting me this weekend. If i know the draft time is really bad for me i can at least try and make my pre-draft lists and strategies as good as possible.

It's finally here.. My heart was racing since I woke up this morning.

Oladipo was welcomed like a boss, Nicholson was on fire in the 1st half, lotta fun to watch. After 1H switched to the Bulls game, and noticed how offensively regular they STILL are.. even with Rose back.. Boozer, Noah, Deng will never challenge Miami for a title. Miami played small and destroyed Chicago. It's comical that people think Chicago can compete for a championship.

Saw 2H of the Lakers game, and don't believe the smokescreen. LA's bench is terrible and this will not continue throughout the season. LAC are now the team to watch in Cali.

Huge slate of games tonight.. Can't wait to see Detroit, Milwaukee, and Dallas with their new aquisitions. My girl is going to kill me but League Pass is only FREE for so long. Get on it!

None of this poor lakers garbage. They pieced together the ideal tank team. They signed nick young for Christ sakes. On a back to back with no Nash that's what you should come to expect.

Woooo! so hyped basketball is back! went  the home opener last night my Raps got the W vs the Celtics. I liked what I saw for the most part our sophmore Centre Jonas Valenchunas is looking very promising and gives us some actual rim protection (something we've been lacking for years) Rudy Gay did pretty much what he does scoring at will at times just abusing Jeff Green always good to start the season on winning note would love to see Toronto make some noise in the post season.

have a good feeling about this year!!

Nothing, but nothing, in the vast repertoire of sports cliches will ever make me laugh as hard as this one.
The best thing for the Cavs would just be to lock Kyrie Irving in the broom closet of their training facility for the next six months and pray for Wiggins. Maybe an all star point guard, a future superstar small forward and 3/4 of an Andrew Bynum will be enough to tempt Lebron back to Cleveland for his twilight years (doubt it though).

Man, ease up there, Cavs have a solid young roster. Kyrie speaks for himself, Bennett and Thompson both are exciting prospects if they continue to develop, along with Waiters (maybe) and they've got depth with Clark and Jack in there too. They're outta the lottery this season and I'd like to see the make a run this or next season.

I don't know about solid, Cleveland is a WEIRD team straight up. They look so discombobulated out there like there's no system. Cleveland has players but who is going to shoot the 3? San Antonio has the idyllic system where every starter can shoot the ball and though Cleveland has improved, I don't trust 4/5 starters with the ball in late game situations.

13 games tonight, league pass still free until the 5th!

i think they'll let him stay for the season, or at least for a while to make him look better to other teams. but yeah ^ that loss was what I had been expecting the whole time : selfish, sloppy, idiotic play.

I like Iggy's style of play, the dudes got style. It is almost show boat-y but for him it seems pretty natural and doesn't try to overdo it. So stoked for this season! 1800GSWHOOPS!

i was watching the Lakers/Rockets game and the Lakers were on fire the first half (they had a 19 point lead at one point/made 11 threes).  the Rockets were able to sneakily come back in the second half by going to the line over and over and over.  they even took a 6 point lead toward the end of the 4th quarter. i seriously have never seen so many calls go to a team before.  almost every drive Harden attempted, he'd get fouls called his way. most of the time the defenders were barely making any contact and he'd get the whistle.  not only does Harden initiate the contact and get his way with the refs, he pulls that eurostep traveling bullshit and rarely gets called for it.

just look at the numbers:

LAL 11-15 FTs

HOU 33-52 FTs

no matter how much the refs helped the Rockets, the Lakers tried that hack-a-Dwight trick and it worked.  D12 was bricking free-throw after free-throw toward the last few minutes.  Jodie Meeks made a three and got the Lakers within two with under two minutes left. the Lakers were still down by 2, were inbounding the ball with 10 seconds left and had it deflected out of bounds.  they inbounded again with 3.4 seconds left and then this happened

right in bitch-ass Dwight's face.

this win was priceless (especially since the refs tried so hard to give it to the Rockets and the Lakers were without Kobe).  D'Antoni is a clown, but i like that the Lakers are playing more team-ball (6 players scored 10 points or more this game).

highlights

i know no-one is expecting much from this Laker squad, but i think they're going to surprise some people this season.

That was actually a really good game last night I wouldn't say the refs were trying to give the game to Houston some of the fouls commited by the Lakers were just straight up sloppy basketball. Both teams were pretty out of sorts not to mention Houston goes to the foul line more than any other.
