sick

Well that was...yea

I didn't really enjoy all star weekend as much, the celeb game was alright though, best part was skylar diggins

I missed the rising stars game and that was disappointing, I wanted to see who'd be next to get brandon knight'd

the new dunk contest format was pretty lame, still some solid stuff though. paul george no effort 360 between the legs

Damian got robbed, Ross as well...i feel everyone needed 1 or two more dunks, or at least the final 3 should have had 1 more each. That team dunk thing seemed like a warm up line, get that the fuck out of here. The NBDL dunk contest had way more excitement to it.

This year i have been watching more DL games then NBA.

So crazy that Steve Blake didn't get notified he had been traded until an hour before his game tonight. Wow the warriors are so fucking stacked when it comes to shooters

You can pretty much sleep on any team in the East not named the Pacers or Heat.

And the Raptors aren't even getting slept on this season, especially compared to recent years.

Trade deadline was a bust more or less. New CBA means no-ones trading picks for anything and just dumping outta-favour older guys like Baby, Granger, Bynum, MWP etc. who then just go and sign with a contender for nothing. So the Clippers etc. don't even have to worry about the trade deadline cause why give up assets and trade for those guys when you can just claim them all off waivers. I can kinda see it stalemating hard an it sure sucked the fun outta trade week. Maybe the offseason will be different.

Looking at the landscape of the league, regardless of the new cba, the only marquee player with the likelyhood of being traded was melo with the small potential of a terrible Minnesota front office pulling off a k love trade. Both of which would have garnered a kings ransom that no real contender could have possibly paid for. Every year there is this whole hype for some blockbuster trade and more times than not it never happens. Maybe lets stop hype beasting the trade deadline.

The ESPN panel not even mentioning Toronto and putting Chicago in third when we're ranked ahead of them is pretty disrespectful to me

Well the teams split the season series 2-2. We have a better overall record, better road record, have FAR better offensive numbers (Chicago ranks an embarrassing 30th in scoring), and are a much deeper team in my opinion. Bulls just have better defense.

So how is Chicago cut and dry "better" than the Toronto Raptors? please state your case good sir.

I don't think at the beginning of this season anyone thought the Raptors would be in the position they are right now. I didn't, at least. And I don't know about franchise building but things feel a bit more positive here than they have recently. Get these guys some playoff experience and see how we do next year. See if we hold on to Lowry, though.

To be honest I haven't been a Raptors fan since the second round exit in 2001.

Welcome to ESPN. They will always give more attention to the big name and big market teams. Its no surprise that they talk about how much the Knicks suck rather than focusing on the Wizards or Raptors. But it doesn't matter anyways, there are teams in the West that aren't even seeded in a playoff spot that are better than the third best team in the east.
