Congrats to Toronto and Kawhi. What a game/series!

Heal up KD and Klay. So unfortunate to see.

Free agency/trades are going to be insane.

Just got home. Walked Yonge from Bloor to Dundas, it was nuts. Can't believe Toronto finally got a title.

Let me preface this post with the fact that I am slightly inebriated, very uneducated and I havent read any papers or done any research at all, or read your post really.

The Raptors president is under investigation for supposedly assaulting a police officer.

Its insane to me that he fired a coach of the year to hire someone who has never been a head coach in the nba and it actually paid off. With all the moves he made with gasol, kawhi, and danny green he deserves a lot of credit.

mad credit to masai. so happy right now. almost teared up today when it sunk in while i was watching kawhi's post game interview. i feel really bad for kd and klay. drove almost to yonge and dundas square, foolishly and almost got my car stuck. it was pretty cool seeing so many people happy and getting to be a general yahoo for a night. i hope there's another year of good basketball here, but i still have no idea what kawhi will do. im happy no matter what though.

I hope this increases basketball here in Canada , in terms of more tournaments/ courts etc

i work painting/resurfacing tennis courts, but were doing a ball court right now by the airport and ive had to turn so many kids away. i think hockey dominance is slowly fading. at least a little

The cop said his jaw hurt....(no punch was thrown or any contact made with his head).

California police claimed Ujiri had no credentials (video and photographic evidence shows he DID have it in his right hand).

A GSW fan who went public by stating he was a witness right in the middle of it all has NEVER been contacted by anyone in the investigation itself.

And to top it off, the police are saying THEY took the high road by NOT arresting Ujiri.

This whole Masai incident is fucking stupid. Americans just can't let the spotlight shine on the Raptors.

Damn I forgot the Pels had the #1 pick, they're pretty stacked now when it comes to roll players, definitely can see them making some noise in the West.

They got a pretty damn good haul, IMO. They also got the 4th pick.

Pelicans did really well in this trade considering what they lost in AD. Zion + Zo + Ingram + Holiday (and if they can trade their fourth pick for a more experienced free agent) could be an exciting team to watch.

Think Randle will agree to a deal with Pelicans after all?

From a basketball stand point, I would. With that young core, plus the #4 pick/trade for another piece that on paper already sounds like a good team. But from a money perspective that boy gonna get paid. He declined his player option i think...

KD going to Brooklyn. Knicks stay losing.

Even as a Warrior fan, I am glad there is this shake up in the NBA. Can't wait for next season already.

This is the craziest day ever. And Kawhi hasn't even signed. I hope he stays in Toronto.....cause.....fuck the Lakers.
