We just ROBBED the blazers holy fuck. Thanks for norm powell and roco!
[close]

Whole lotta money for washed roco and Powell, but does fit clips timeline. Blazers seem headed for a rebuild? Or at least a Dame trade request. Dunno what they’re thinking except shaving tax for a billionaire that doesn’t give a fuck about basketball

They both fit what we need both right now and potentially next season depending on PG and Kawhis return. Norm is absolutely what we've needed, a scorer who can pour in points quickly. This offense has been pretty bad and we've needed someone who can put up like 20 a night

I've been furious ever since i found out about the trade. Not getting even a single first rounder back is such a fucking joke. I don't even want to get into discussing it more, just typing these couple sentences probably raised my blood pressure by a lot.

Roco was actually playing well as soon as Dame and CJ were out. I have a feeling he hated playing with CJ especially.
He was making these subtle "it's great now that we're playing team basketball" jabs in interviews that seemed to be directly about not getting any touches on offense when CJ was dribbling the air out of the ball for 18 seconds.

Powell was a great fit alongside Dame at the 2 but because of this ridiculous three guard backcourt had to be played out of position for his entire tenure with the Blazers. It's an absolute steal for the Clippers.

And shaving tax for a billionaire so that she has more money to spend on illegal elephant bones is exactly what this is about. I can't wait for the organization to be sold. Fuck this.

I actually really feel your blazers pain. My grandma lives up there and loves Dame more than anything in this world and when i was living up there was when they were the roy/oden blazers before both of their knees completely exploded. I know there's not a lot to be excited about

It just keeps getting worse..

They gave up a first for Nance six months ago and now got a single protected first back for both him and CJ. Im losing my mind here.

Damn this is all about shaving salary. Think they kick the tires on Ben simmo one last time in the last couple says before the deadline? Also I'm gonna be in Portland this weekend if you wanna skate Burnside with me

And before anyone says anything, im fully aware that all this creates cap space for next summer. But who are the Blazers really going to get from the free agent market if they're trying to build around Dame for three more years?

What im most mad about is the amount of picks that all this brought back. Powell/RoCo trade actually pisses me off more than the CJ/Nance/Snell trade, even if i think the return was bad. They needed to get off of CJ's contract no matter what route they decide to go.

Haha, that be awesome but i don't even live there. Im just a passionate Blazers fan from Finland who happened to pick a favorite team twenty or so years ago and has stuck with it through thick and thin ever since.

If there's one thing to take comfort in during these hard times, it's that the Kings stay around to remind me that things could always be worse.

Portland and Sacramento are obviously competing for the league's worst front office.
