It’s a little fucked up to pair NBAs COVID patient zero with a guy that lost like most of his family to the pandemic

Yo great point

Like I said in another thread - Simmons is the AO of bball

I think that's unfair. AO would've dunked on Trae Young in Game 7

I can't believe they are trying to lie about him not being available. It was pretty obvious they're tearing it down

not really.

Harris
Thybulle
Korkmaz
Niang back
Harden even.

Honestly I don’t think he fits here chemistry-wise, but the money definitely works.

Ehhhh considering what gobert netted, i think the asking price for him will be crazy… solid player, but defense is meh. The Knicks will end up snagging him i think..

Lol and kd definitely won't sign off on gutting his new team, leaving only gobert and Russell. I hate to say it, but the warriors option is looking more and more likely

i dont see what motivation gs has though, sacrificing depth youth and flexibility when they just won as constructed?

doesn't really fit the way they operate. I have no idea what team is actually gonna end up getting KD its bizarre.

would be a wild move. but like wiggins & wiseman makes the money for a KD trade to work, plus haggling over whatever other assets (poole?) and however many picks. the warriors could be like: dude we'll all put the bs behind us – just come win another chip, maybe two

plus dubs would be selling high on wiggins/poole, ya know

lmao phoenix matched the deandre ayton offer sheet in two seconds, guess they'll be running it back :/

suns could still do something like bridges/shamet/saric to make a KD trade work money-wise, plus however many draft pics

ayton/crowder/KD/booker/CP3 is a squad, but def starting to seem likely durant stays in BK

this + picks will not get KD to the suns

their best offer, by far,  was DA, Bridges, and cam johnson + picks

based on kd's age might be selling low tbh

meh i'm not convinced poole is anything more than a jamal crawford type that thrives in golden state's spacing. he doesn't play d and got played off the floor in the playoffs. and it took wiggins 8 years to grab a rebound. this was his peak. it'd be insane to me if the dubs maxed him out

that said i don't think the nets would do it for just these guys and all the picks, they'd prolly want moody and/or kuminga

ya i just meant money-wise they can still make it work without DA, then you haggle over the details

saw the nets didn't want ayton anyway, so sending him elsewhere would've been the move (DA to the pacers, turner to the suns? etc). anyway seems more than likely KD is staying put, poor guy

what are the odds simmons plays next year? can you bet that lol

It’s the weird thing of only guards/sf are allowed in the GOAT category.   Otherwise they’d have to talk about Russell, Walt, and Kareem.    Shaq is in there too, but I wonder if post-Heat ring Shaq dilutes young Shaq in terms of a dominant career
