^ Jamal Murray is a wizard. Loved Michael Malone’s comments after game 1 & 2 calling out the world. Jack Nicholson looking rough, of combing hair. Be epic if Lakers get swept. Austin Reaves fun to watch. Rui Hachimura certified baller with a cool name

What bar?

I’d much rather be seven seed getting swept than getting swept by an eighth seed

This might have been the most fun game of basketball I’ve ever watched. Heat had control the entire game. Bostons biggest lead was 3. Omer yurtseven had more FGs in the fourth quarter than Tatum. Smart missing open 3s and elbows. Boston had TWENTY (20) more offensive rebounds. Jimmy butler with the finger guns and timeout in Al’s face.

Fuck Boston. Five more.

Would a conference finals double sweep be an nbd?

Yes Reggie Miller mentioned it on the broadcast last night.

Salute to you Carmelo Anthony. Looked at his stats…From 2003-2016, never averaged under 20 points a game for the season. His last season in New York averaged 22.4 points a game. Next year in 2017 with The Thunder, he averaged 16 points a game. Beginning of the end. Father Time always win. Denver Carmelo my favorite era when he played alongside AI

Jim Buckets absolute troll lol… love it

I used to torch both of my nephews on 2k12 or 13 using Melo… 90+ points. Good times. His 2003 ncaa tourney run was legendary.

Ok that’s the only place I would think would do thst but I didn’t think they had much room to actually put screens up.

Black Cats patio area/former parking lot is begging for that kind of set up

Still riding high on the Nugs, can’t believe the same core that played game 83 and lost a close one to just barely miss the playoffs vs. the Jimmy Butler TWolves back in 2018 is now in the Finals. Also poetic considering I became a full on Nuggets fan after giving up on the Bulls for trading Jimmy and GarPax being pieces of shit (at that point I was also goin to 8-10 Nugs game a year and they’d been my second team since like ‘09 so it wasn’t exactly overnight).

Even last night I was still nervous that the Lakers could come back. Jokic getting back to back charges and playing on 5 fouls was terrifying. Their D stepped up when it needed to and what an awesome stop from AG/Murray to close it out.

I think they’ll match up well against either team at this point, but the Heat and Himmy scare me. Hoping the Nugs talent and the Moach being a capable coach can get them to the promiseland.

As a casual, I can’t really root for the Heat over the Nuggets as it would be the Nuggs first Championship and Miami has never had a drought for too long thst I feel bad for the fans

I love playoff Jimmy Buckets. Even if my Lakers didn’t get destroyed by the nuggets, I still might have rooted for Jimmy to get the ring.

He is such a vibe.  I love watching him think/see the court when he picks up his dribble.  You can see him watching all the cuts play out. Dude is playing chess out there and never takes a play off.  Killer!

It truly has. Playoffs are delivering this year. Would love to watch the game tonight but no chance I will get up at 2:30 am. Most fucked time lol. Not a heat fan but they deserve it imo according to the way they have played in these playoffs.

Fuck Boston. Big fraud energy. Caleb should have won the Larry bird trophy. We really just sandbagged the last three games just to mess with the Celtics and blow them out on their home court. Jaylen brown to Portland.

Heat in 6.

By the beginning of the fourth quarter, Derrick White probably thought “I wish I didn’t hit that game winner”, that would have been the most face-saving outcome.

I’m not worried for the Nuggets though, both Celtics and Heat have played badly for about 50 per cent of the series

Yeah, they might be rusty game 1 and blow it because they’ve had so much time off, but it’ll be shocking if they don’t do the damn thing.   Anyone catch the stats on 8th seeds being in the actual Finals?
Edit:  95 Rockets, 99 Knicks only other 8th seeds
