Holy fuck! I’ve been battling Covid/pneumonia all week, so I went to bed when they were down 17 in the 4th. Halliburton had two of the craziest comebacks in these playoffs. Never count them out. I love to see this after KAT getting cocky and Brunson getting 12 free throws.

Hey bud, you wanna know what I think??…

… I think I hope you feel better
Thanks! This is my 5th round, but first with pneumonia. I seem to be turning a corner now that I’m on amoxicillin.

FUCK THE KNICKS

hope you feel better with that pneumonia that shit sucks even worse than that knicks choke job
Quoting another poster without commenting anything yourself is the most annoying form of virtue signaling on the internet IMO. Just so lazy.

As an old Knicks fan I keep telling the young Knicks fans "just wait, you'll become an old Knicks fan too" and then last night, you can't script it any better, back page of the Post says it all with the double chokes pics

Holy shit that fucking Knicks Pacers game was the craziest ending I have seen in for fucking ever!

Knicks were up 14 with 2:51 left and choked so hard, but hats off to this fucking guy Nesmith, Jesus lord I’ve never seen anything like it he just kept raining threes and then the last fucking shot by Haliburton !
There was no way that fucking ball bounced that high off the rim and came straight back the fuck down and went in.
A toenail away from a three point game winner.
Overtime, shit the Knicks had it but you gotta finish in this league.
It remains: no lead is safe.

One of the greatest games I’ve seen just not the ending I wanted.

Love the playoffs!
This shit is insane.

This wasn’t even the craziest ending for the Pacers this playoffs.
Yeah it was.
Especially the shot at the buzzer that bounced in.
The one where Haliburton grabbed his own rebound off the free throw and then stepped back and made the three was definitely crazy but last night’s bounce?
That thing bounced as high as the top of the damn shot clock, had to be about 8-9 feet straight up above the rim and the straight down, you will never see another shot like that bounce that fucking high and then come straight back down and go in at the buzzer, 1000 times out of 1000 times that shot does not go in, that was some step on dog shit historical luck in the craziest situation, with his toe on the line?
Ludicrous.

My bad. I typed that a little hungover after watching last nights game. I meant to say it wasn’t their ONLY crazy ending these playoffs. This was definitely the craziest.

Ok thanks for clarifying I mean they had a couple other insane comebacks and Haliburton is a monster but yeah that was historical biblical shit last night.

As a Knick fan that was heartbreaking as it gets and I have hated the Pacers since Reggie and Rick Smits and the Davis boys but I’m not worried about it.

Knicks played better than them the entire game basically, even when Indiana started off shooting 70 fucking percent in the first quarter, Knicks were right there toe to toe handling it, they don’t need to make many adjustments now (aside from removing both hands from around their necks) they just need to keep doing what they were doing, Pacers are not winning this series, fuck them.

Even if NY ends up losing this, which they won’t, they have gotten farther than anyone gave them any chance of getting, they were never supposed to beat Boston that’s for sure and at this point they are by far the most entertaining team in the playoffs so far, almost playing with house money at this point but they will bounce back.

EDIT: I should have mentioned when I was talking about adjustments that I hope Thibs is making those guys shoot extra free throws in practice today, they missed 12 free throws last night and that was huge. Huuuuuige.

If they could have cut those 12 misses down to like 6 or even 8 misses, they win the game outright.
Example if OG hits both free throws instead of one with 7 seconds left in the game, they win. It’s over. The lucky bounce shot doesn’t help because the Knicks are up 3 instead of 2 and the choke gesture never happens.

I know I know, if if if if if , if only this if only that, you can say that about so many little things.
The Knicks absolutely choked but Indy still had to make all those shots down the stretch, they absolutely deserved to win.

Yep Thunder looking really solid atm. I think Minnesota have it in them to win a couple games but I think OKC are clear favorites to win this series.

SGA/Caruso psychologically tormenting MN is paying off. I get frustrated as a spectator with all the arm wrapping and flops.

EC is going to be a lot more interesting to watch. Whoever takes it better pray for an OKC injury.

MVP discussion is a dead horse, but of the past 5 years, it’s kinda funny Jokic didn’t get it the year he won the title and the season he was averaging a triple double.

The Thunder I'm Accustomed to... beat you on both ends. Chet and Isaiah can beat you at the rim and both can shoot. Pick n roll, 3 pointers... well coached.

Sure didn’t foresee Pascal Siakim dropping a damn near 40 piece on NY tonight, he was huge, Knicks had a terrible 4th quarter again but still a pretty thrilling game , can’t believe they are down 0-2 to these dickheads.

Only bright spot now going to Indiana for the next 2 games is that Knicks are 5-1 on the road so far in these playoffs, they beat Detroit 3 times in Detroit and beat Boston 2 out of 3 times in Boston, also 2-0 doesn’t really mean it’s over, they were up 2-0 on the Pacers just a year ago and lost the series, however they are historically 0-14 in playoff series when they go down 0-2 so that fucking sucks.

My Knicks/Wolves final is looking pretty damn near impossible now but weirder shit has happened, this has been a crazy postseason so far.

Both series are essentially over IMO.  I know that’s not going out on a limb but if you look at both okc and Indy’s dominance going into the playoffs and now in the playoffs, they’re just not teams that are likely to slip up because of their depth.

Same lack of depth is going to hurt wolves and knicks in trying to win 4/5 games, shits a grind.

The finals should be interesting though

Wild postseason is right.

Minnesota bench out scored OKC starters today 66-49, that is a fucking bonkers stat line.

Go Knicks!
What a comeback, KAT put the team in his shoulders in the 4th, he scored as much as the entire Pacer team in the quarter, again we see no lead is safe.

Also GREAT free throw shooting, the Knicks only missed one in the 4th and if they did this in Game 1 they’d be the ones up 2-1 right now.

Knicks on the road are 6-1 this postseason, need another on Tuesday and this shit would be dead even.

@Shitbag, had a post all typed up assuming you’d be going too wild to post right now but you beat me to it. What a comeback, great game by the Knicks.

Don’t have strong feelings for any of these teams which is actually making for a great ECF and WCF, just get to sit back and watch some insane basketball.

Last night's game was a rough watch but overall I'm very happy with the direction of the Timberwolves. The Thunder are much further along in their project and deserve credit for building things patiently. Minnesota came a long way from total irrelevance to two straight conference finals. I hope this disciplined and deliberate approach continues.

As much as I want the Wolves to get this, my guess is OKC in 6.

Fuck, that was a nail biter. I still think the Wolves have one more in them, but yeah, still guessing OKC in 6.

I felt like the series over after Game 2. I am pretty bummed out. Wanted the Wolves to move on nevertheless happy with the final 4 in the playoffs… nice change.
