Quite ok article about why we see more soft tissue injuries in modern nba

https://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/285638/NBA-Soft-Tissue-Injuries-Have-Surged-As-Players-Try-To-Keep-Up-With-Demands-Of-Modern-Game

Could this also apply to skateboarding? Any change in style that could have caused different types of injuries?
great article. thanks.

It’s like kinda interesting that the finals have the potential to be an NBA Cup rematch.  Winning the double would be a neat feather in the cap for the Knicks

The Knicks match up pretty good against the Spurs, I’m all for it.
Beat them in the Cup by 15 and beat them in the regular season by 25 then lost by 3 so they’ve proven they can more than hang with those guys.

Waiting for Detroit Cleveland game 7, series going just how I wanted it to go, long and drawn out so OG can get all the rest he needs, even though Deuce killed it in his place.

Next week we gonna see fully charged Knicks at max strength versus whoever, doesn’t matter, these guys are firing on every imaginable cylinder and then some.

The NBA cup rematch would be cool. Surely the NBA would love talking about that for 2 weeks. Not even a Knicks fan but watching them play has been fun.

Hoping a healthy jdub can even out the spurs matchup but he hasn't been healthy all year it seems.

In a shocking twist, it turns out you actually do need shooting to contend in the modern NBA. It's gonna be interesting to see who Detroit will go after to address this issue. And what they'll do with this year's number one playoff sinker Duren, who'll be eligible for a supermax if he makes All NBA.

Conference finals should be a blast. Thunder - Spurs is all a basketball fan can ask for.
Yes, I'll cave in and watch Thunder games again.

If showing up means fouling on every play and getting away with it, then yes, that's not gonna change. But I'll transfer you my life savings if he makes 8 threes again.

Did y'all realize that deeeep 3 to tie it late was from pretty much the exact spot as Steph's dagger in that Warriors - OKC game 10 years ago? Only this time it's a 7'4" center shooting it. Pretty wild. I don't like crowning guys too early but Wemby truly is undeniable.

Lmfao yeah that was me hoping to beat it into reality. Dudes a monster. Always been a closet spurs fan and rooted against them all year bc of wemby potentially being the next generational talent. Can't fathom someone being that big and able to move like that. Yet, right across from him you have chet who should be able to compete with him. In theory

Edit- really did think teams were going to be able to get in his head but aside from one elbow, he stayed level headed

Got it out of the way early! No mulligan games against this okc team. And if Minnesota’s physicality frustrates you, well, get ready.

The young Spurs are hanging in against okc’s ball pressure! Big Yama (we can’t really be rolling with “Wemby” as a nickname, can we? Even “VW” would be better. The VW Bus? But I digress) and also Castle and especially Cool Head Rookie of the Year Dylan Harper—

Oops I remember what happened last time I tried positivity…umm uh the thunder’s ball pressure is bound to take it’s toll eventually, and there’s only so long you can contain Shai. Fox’s broken ankle is probably hella contagious.

…and Alex Caruso fronting Victor and stealing the entry pass is is just bonkers.

yeah. i kinda low key dislike "wemby" as a nickname and hardly use it. was trying to start "Vic Dub" in my friends and family circle but it never took off. haha. oh well, i just call him Victor.
and yeah, i dont expect sga to stay quiet, but i have seen it happen where a star looses some of the brightness. Im so ready for weds game. For sure will be watching tonights Cavs Knicks game cause over all I'm a fan of hoop. And dont get me started on Fridays game. gonna be a party for sure.

dont know who it was, carmelo or t mac, but one of them said before the game....
"its not like Wemby is that much better than Chet...."
probably Carmelo, but dont remember.
Say whuut?

one other thing
you know whats starting to gross me out?
Draft Kings getting shoved into our eyeballs every damn time they can. its disconcerting. If i start seeing it in the NCAA Softball World Series.....Im throwin in the towel.

Vote for your favorite Victor Wembanyama nickname:

V.
Big Vic
Big Yama
Alien
Area 51
Hector Bananabread
Frédéric Gaulle
Wemby
Dhalsim
Lose-benyama (credit to David “you can be mean if you’re funny” Jacoby)
SPF 100 (blocks everything)
VW aka “the Jetta” (these are so bad and I will never stop loving them)
Wham-Bam
Big Slim

…Victor.
Just Victor. Like LeBron is just LeBron. Michael. Larry. Kobe. Dirk. Tim. I mean, it already means “winner.” What more do you need?

Edit: meanwhile…oh shit, the Cavs are up on the Knicks! Didn’t see that coming!

Well, dang. The inverse of last year's ECF game 1. Pretty poetic that they come back to get this one after giving away the game last year. I'm sure what Brunson did to Harden is banned in multiple states as cruel and unusual punishment.

damn. cant win games with that many turnovers. wtf.
yet spurs were close to steal that game at times. going to hope Fox is back on Friday.

but got to see the sickest dunk of the playoffs.
cant find a gif of it quite yet.
