if u do the same trick that should take away ur turn.

well when you do like every trick it gets hard to remember

perhaps in the games you play when you can hardly make 5 tricks, this rule should apply

ya it's really hard to remember a fakie laser flip

he did the fakie laser twice in a row at the end they should have told him after the first time to try a different trick next time. good game but yeah the ending was a little wierd

I think you should go back and count all the tricks, then try and tell them all from the top of your head - I really don't think you can blame anyone for missing one of the tricks done this late in the game.

I feel dirty.

So Steve has to be glory ref, yet does a piss poor job.  Okay.
I rarely complain about how things are edited and filmed, but this one bothered me.  If this is their showcase, maybe try to do a good job.  Show me just how slow proddy is going and with a clean view.  It's not a high speed downhill line, film that shit so we can see it.

They're bringing in Gary Rogers, how about having optional running commentary? It might be terrible, but it'd be something.  Other peoples reactions, something of interest.
I shouldn't have to mention Carlin.
I'm posting from my blackberry wtf?!?!?

so no one is going to comment on the fact that the camera zoomed down to Koston's nike shirt a shitload of times and that he didn't wear the ref shirt just so that his shirt is seen?

Pretty hyped to see J-Rog in the back, cheering like a cheerleader towards the end. Wonder who he was routing for since he's good homies with both of them, hah.

looks like he was playing both sides of the fence (note the flags in the attached pics)

honestly p-rod should have won that, pj got called a couple times on toe drag but there were a bunch of instances where they let it slide and the foot was like hanging off. that and doing the same trick twice, i dont know if theyve ever even thought about having a rule for that

did anyone notice that pj got both p-rod and moose out on E with the same trick (half cab inward heel)?

its weird because a couple weeks ago my friend described that trick and was asking what it would be called (we guessed big inward heel) shane did one nollie in the 3rd place battle i think

That game was unreal!  Prod and PJ played excellent games.  Did Pj do that fakie laser flip earlier in the match?  I didn't see it.

at about 4.15 :)

p-rod almost stopped rolling while trying that trick...

Every trick PJ toe dragged on or missed, he has set against people in other games. It's sort of like the fakie shuv he tail dragged on against Albert Nyberg, fuck a redo...it's PJ

Defensive toe drag ftw.

Batb7 should be all girls.

Know who would love that?

I wanted Shane to win so bad. His tricks just look so much better even on flat.  The way he popped that nollie tre against Paul had me shitting bricks.

It's fakie big heel, except it's backside instead of frontside. So I guess you could just call it a fakie bs big heel.
Same with that hardflip fs revert trick that Sewa does. It's technically a big flip, so it should be called a FS big flip.
You don't see people calling BS big flips as varial flip bs revert, or people calling rick flips fakie big varial heel.

Just saw the final, and it did not disappoint.

I can't believe P Rod landed that fakie 540 flip.... it looked like he was gonna step off but just held on to it somehow.

For everyone complaining PJ should have missed his turn, I know it's a competition, but it's still a game of skate. When's the last time you played a game of skate, repeated a trick and the other person said "too bad, you don't get another try, my turn". Never happens.

All I wanna know is how the fuck they can put up what is probably the berrics most watched clip for the year with such bad audio. I know its skateboarding or whatever and some of our most influential/best parts/videos are technically edited average as, but wtf! Berra has worked in the film industry and made some pretty reasonable film work but the audio in all the finals was inexcusable. For the tiny cost (comparatively) of the audio equipment required to get a feed off the mic to mix with the atmos from the cams. Im halfway through my first year at film school and if i had handed that up for an assignment i would have failed. Definitely not presented at a professional level. Berra we all know you lurk this shit, you should feel ashamed... amateur hour!

I'd be super interested in watching that. The only caveat is how long they'd have to slide/grind, because then it's just a game of doing a trick into a stall.

If they'd move to something harder like ledges or stair, I'm afraid there would be more bails than lands...

If it was the new gen kids.. that probably wouldn't be a problem.

Those little fuck kickflip into ledges like its nothing.  Plus stuff down stairs like a curb.

Little shits.  :-*
