The notch here on the outsole that turns to a line parallel with the sole running towards the heel is almost 100%

I still to this day have re-occurring dreams about that Oscar the Grouch colorway

People talk about dunks, but I remember searching online and ebay for hours for SB Classic colorways.
The tongues were massive on them and the sole was extremely hard/slippery for skating, but they were way more OG than rocking Dunks back then.
Cool to see them back, but at this point in time I'd rather skate the Ipath version of the tennis classic that just came out.

A Tennis Classic with a tongue somewhere between a Dunk Low Pro and a Bruin React in this new iteration would be appreciated. It sucked (still does) when shoe companies thinned out all their models' tongues. It doesn't have to be Accel OG puffy, but some padding is better than none tbh

Curious to see what they're like in hand!

Had no idea puffy tongues were still so desirable, that's the thing that makes a shoe look most dated to me. Never skated a shoe and wished it had more cushion in the tongue. Centering straps or a lace loop sure, but not foam.

Still have fond memories of skating some dogshit colorways of the Classic back in highschool, will for sure grab a pair or two when these drop.

I remember getting a pair of Ipath Cats in middle school and not really understanding the concept of what was supposed to be stashed, I think I just ended up with a few dollar bills that smelled like feet sitting in there.

The original was a large puffy tongue for the Tennis Classic. What I'm hoping for is something much less than that but still has ample foam for comfort.

Majority of Converse, LRAB, and other brands' vulcs/cups all have noticeably thinner tongues on a lot of models. The kind that become uncomfortable when you tie them tight since they press down on your foot. Maybe that's just a me thing, but there should be SOME padding in there.

The Japan Pro, KSL 3, Blazer Mid, 440, 1010, 306, 508, Busenitz (cup), etc. have executed a tongue with padding that's not overbearing like Accel OG or Dunks
