Yo Peter, are you sure it's 1080p? I know it says HD on the Vimeo link, but I am wondering if it may only be like a 720p DVD rip. Yes it's 1080p and is literally a digital copy, not any kind of rip. It's where I bought it from when it came out.

None of those 3 DVDs have years on them but i did a little digging and discovered the following:
- Grayscale is likely 2012, based on a vimeo promo post I unearthed and the DVD authoring date
- True Grit premiered in 2018, so DVD release is likely 2019 (even tho the authoring date is 2018...)
- Gold Quest is 2017 from the credits and authoring date

I'm assuming you're talking about the blu ray version, but here is the DVD version of Pretty Sweet. My bad if you're looking for the blu ray. My friend actually has it on blu ray but I don't have a blu ray player/burner for my PC

I tried four different kinds of DVD ripping software including DVD Decrypter and Disk Utility. I resorted to just zipping a VIDEO_TS folder for that one, so just unzip it and drag it to VLC or whatever. I left a READ ME file in the folder for n00bs lol. It had some weird copy protection thing and even if I was able to make an ISO directly from it, it wasn't playable in VLC or Mac's DVD Player app. Anyway, enjoy this stuff! I think it's all pretty much brand new on here, with the exception of maybe one or two.

Cheers dude! I ran Chomp through Topaz a few times to see what would work but my free trial ended so I'm not sure what to do now as I don't have the money for a full account. I checked to see how long it'd take to process the whole video and it came out at around 2 days of straight processing which is madness.

I think the main problem is the fact that it's been recorded off a DVD recorder. I actually have a copy of Chomp at my parents place, so I'm tempted to send it to a digitizing facility which can do a HQ recording of the tape with a Time Base Corrector and so on. It'll make the quality go up straight away and the less compressed file I can get from the guy will mean editing and enhancing should be easier and yield better results.

I have a friend that has a copy of Chomp and I have digitizing equipment. I digitized it, but I ended up deleting the file because it looked pretty much the same as the ISO that we have here. But would it be helpful if I digitized it and I can send you the raw 15gb .mov file?

For sure, no problem! I don't have a full list or anything, but I do have a LOT. It's all from my personal collection and just scouring this thread and contacting a few homies on here who I know have a fat collection so I got a lot from them. So I don't really have anything that hasn't been shared on here already. But I do have a couple more brand new VHS rips that I made that I'm gonna post here real soon. And I'm eventually gonna have everything uploaded to Archive.org so we can have working download links that don't expire.
